I purchased this table 3 years ago, and today I write a review, the day that I am replacing it by a new table. I live by the ocean, in a hot and humid place, where it rains frequently. The table was outside and lasted 3 years. I maintained it using Teak Oil, but it gradually deteriorated to the point that I had to purchase another one, this time of polywood. If you have it outside, but not so exposed to the elements, probably it would last way longer. ... show more

Received 8 screw for the legs that are all 1/2 inch Tok long for the holes they pre drilled. Causing one to split the table leg. Reached out to customer assistance to request shorter screws and a replacement leg. It’s been over 48 hours and still no response. Guess I will just return it!

The reviews for this table are not the best, but the table is. If you've never assembled furniture before, this might be a challenge. So, for the neophytes: Assemble it on the box top. It will fit. Get a folding chair or something that's easy to move. Find the little white box with the screws - you'll have to get the whole table out of the box to see them. Each bag has exactly what you need for each assembly operation. There are instructions in the box that are worth going over. First you need to put the table top together using the two boards that tie the two halves together. Next you'll put on the four legs. All screws will go in easily. If they don't, don't force them. Take enough apart so that you can screw them in without assembling anything, just to prove to yourself that they work. When it's all together. if you have anyone to help, tip it over on its feet. If not, you can do it yourself - I did. Just make sure that you don't get trapped under it, and that you have plenty of room. I turned mine up in my kitchen right from the box top where I assembled it. It was very handy to have an electric screw driver. Made things go much faster. I'm old, so I went slow, and it took me 1 hr. 18 min. to open the box, get everything out, and put together, and then to turn the table over. I had to have the correct Allen wrench bit, but thankfully I already had it. Be sure to hand tighten everything once your done - hopefully before you turn the table over. I couldn't get chairs from Amazon for this table, but Bed, Bath, and Beyond have some that fold up and look nice for a decent price. ... show more

First of all, check the dimensions. It says it seats four, and it does - barely. It's a narrow table. Also, it's made of pine, I think. It's stained to resemble redwood but it's definitely a soft wood. And there aren't any feet on the bottom of the legs, so make sure you're putting it someplace dry. I wouldn't put this outside unless it's under a patio roof of some kind. It just doesn't seem like it will last that long. I was looking for a table that wasn’t huge in size but also affordable because a lot of tables out there were a bit expensive for me. So glad I took a chance & ordered this one. Assembly was okay, some of the bolts wouldn’t go all way in & one didn’t go in at all but it all worked out. Would definitely recommend regardless.
