  • STURDY SIMPLE DESIGN: Our Watersnake Venom SXW electric motors provide saltwater anglers with a versatile range of tiller-steer transom-mount motors that are loaded with clever features. The shafts on all Venom SXW motors are an extra-tough composite constructed specifically for use in saltwater marine environments. The tiller handles are telescopic for versatility, comfort and control.
  • CONTROL + FEATURES: The 34lb motors have a two-blade propeller. The 54lb motors each run a three-blade propeller. All propeller shafts are stainless steel and the props have a weedless design, so you can push the boundaries during your next adventure. All the motors run on 12V power and operate with 5 forward and 3 reverse speeds, which are controlled with the tiller handle throttle.
  • ELECTRIC POWER: 54 lbs thrust, 12 Volt motor, 13-54 Amps / 34 lbs thrust, 12 volt motor, 7.5-34 amps. Battery Not Included. Each motor is suited to boats ranging from small tenders and tinnies up to dedicated estuary and inshore sportfishing boats.
  • VERSATILE TRANSOM MOUNT: The compact and stylish new Venom motor head design incorporates a new thicker ergonomic grip for the tiller handle. The new head design also includes a digital voltage meter display, so you can keep track of your batterys condition. The grips on the alloy transom mount have also been upgraded, making it even easier to attach and secure the motor before you utilize the fast multi-tilt positioning bracket.

    • My experience
My wife and I took this out fishing panfish for 3 days in a row .With the periodic boat adjustments and 100 to 200 yard dashes in a 14' mirror craft deep V for 3 afternoons and an evening. I have to report that my battery was hardly even phased . The power and stability was great . I was a minnikota guy for 35 years after rebuilding my minnikota 3 times in 3 years with only using it 9 times a year max ! It was time to make a switch . Sad to say it . This product is not made in the U.S.A but it's worth every penny but your gonna need one of those battery boxes where you can turn it off dry dock . Because the battery life meter does not turn off , unless you disconnect it from the battery . Peace out ! It's a good buy .Lol ... show more

The Emotor is cheap, and light weight for a Kayak. Normally a single person kayak can only take 300 pounds, heavy motor could easily flip a kayak if installed on one side. This motor is good for kayak. However, it should come with a battery reader(indicator) which tells you how much electricity left in the battery. ... show more

Good motor to get around in my 14/36 jon boat. Easy to use and install. Plenty of power. Amazon recommended a battery with it, I would probably have picked a better set up. I thought their suggestion would be better. Looks great imo. Not the cheapest one out there, I feel this should last.

Good thrust and easy to use. Seems well made. The highest speed pushes me and my wife in our tandem kayak at about 4 mph. As long as it doesn't break in the next 5 years I'm happy.

It does not seem to have any more power than my 27 pound thrust Minn Kota, trolling motor and this water snake is supposed to be a 54 pound thrust

    • Very Quiet
We have been experiencing problems with our boat motor and decided to get a trolling motor to keep on the boat. My husband built something to attach it to on the front of the boat. We tried it out a couple weeks ago. We rode for well over an hour just using the trolling motor. It worked good.
