I am writing the review with the expectation that this watch is a kids toy watch. With that said, it fulfills that need quite well. Comes in a cute box, so our daughter was quite excited to open it up. Has 2 screen protectors to help keep it safe which is good as well. Compared to some other models, this uses a magnetic attachment for the USB charging cable which I prefer for something for my kids. USB-C is nice, but when it comes to kids, the magnetic attachment is so much easier for them to just attach versus shoving in the USB cable. This makes it seem more sturdy overall in my opinion. The watch is a bit big on my 6 year old. I do wish the bezels on the screen were smaller so they could reduce the footprint of the watch. I do also wish it was a bit lighter, I weighed the watch and it was 64 grams, so it's similar to my Apple Watch. There are two cameras, they have decent quality for the size of the sensor. I do like that it has a 'flash'/torch on it as well, so my daughter enjoyed having a flashlight on her wrist. The most excitement part was the games. There is a decent number of games, but only a few are actually enjoyable in my opinion. I think this is a good value for a kid's toy watch. My grandson was very happy with this watch for his birthday. It amazes me how quickly they learn and figure out the touch screen and to take pics. Glad it’s waterproof and the screen protectors will definitely help. Thinking I will get my granddaughters the same watch. Definitely recommend.

I actually really like this smart watch. It's perfect for little kids. There are so many things you can do on it. It has games, a calendar, a calculator, and it plays music. You're able to download mp3 song files to the SD card. It even has a selfie camera and the ability to take videos. It has a teach function where your child can learn about lots of different things. I'm not sure this watch would be good for a toddler, it's a little difficult to figure out for a small child, but I think an older 4 through about 7 years old is a good age group. I ordered it for my 7 year old, and I think she's going to enjoy it. The price is pretty on point for watches like this, so I would say it's worth the money. ... show more

First of all, this watch is a toy. It is an entertaining toy with lots of activities to explore and play with, but it's not really a smart watch in that it cannot connect to anything except its charger; it can't upload or print any pictures or other information (I consider that feature a safety asset). A child young enough to be entertained by this watch will likely need some help getting started. Someone may need to consult the 20-page user guide in near-microscopic print. To fully enjoy the watch, a child may need fine-motor control and the ability to read some words and numbers. The watch offers a camera (actually, two cameras), short audio books (with a slight Chinese accent), audio and video recording and playback, and several games. The child can change watch faces and have the time read aloud with a tap. It also offers a calendar, calculator, flashlight ("torch"), stopwatch, pedometer, and timers. A short (<1') USB charging cable connects to the watch magnetically. It should be easy for a child to use, but its proprietary design means that it might not be replaceable if lost. The watch package includes only the cable, not a USB charger. The user guide is clearly not written for children but, perhaps with a little sage adult advice, the child will probably learn quickly enough by playing with the watch. The watch defaults to English, and the user guide says it also offers French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, and Dutch. It has limited parental controls for restricting usage times and functions. Two screen protectors are included, but no instructions for installing them. Besides being almost too tiny to read, the user guide was apparently written for another model. It mentions installing the battery, but that's built-in; an SD card, but there is no SD card port; and removing the USB port plug, but there is neither a plug nor a port to put it into. Otherwise, the guide can be quite useful for figuring some of the less-obvious games and functions. ... show more
