My feet have been aching with my regular sneakers, not while wearing them, it's when I sit for awhile then stand up they Ache....I gave these a try, and I can't believe how comfortable they are! My feet do not ache at all anymore within a day! I now own 5 pair, 2 velcro style and 3 lace style which you don't have to tie. Why I have 5 is incase I can't find this brand again, you know how it is, you love something then companies either change it or discontinue it! I wear them indoor and outdoors with comfort. I really like the fit of this style, I wear a US Women 8.5 I have a bit of a wide foot, but not like Flintstone feet lol! I ordered women 7.5 US and they fit perfect as a good glove. If you have narrow feet, I recommend the sneaker round toe style with toe print on the bottom of sole since they run narrow. This is my experience since I ordered from 3 other brands before I found Racqua. Also they are priced very fair for the quality and consistency of it's style. There was a few bad reviews on the sticky of velcro style, not true they have a great grip! Sometimes the insole will slide out when removing them, no biggie, they have a little rubber odor which disipates, and they keep your feet dry, which I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the shoes yet I had to return them. It was like wearing nothing that is how comfortable they are. Length was nice but they were too roomy for me and the closure did not allow to tie them tighter. They would slide off during my every day aqua classes. I wish they came also in size 9, but the smaller is 8.5 and I am afraid they might be too short, hence I did not request a replacement. ... show more

I prefer these types of "shoes/socks" when working out cause they clean off easily, easy get on and off, and they move naturally with the forms of your foot/ankles. I bought on the larger side cause I've been burned by other products like this which come in waaaay to tight and my feet end up sliding off the tractioned sole (which is very uncomfortable). This leads to slipping, ankle twists, and the quickly lowers the durability of the product. These ones fit well and will try purchasing a size smaller to see if it would be snug enough for extended yoga poses... but these ones fit well for ballistic and high-energy activities such as biking, treadmills, calisthenics, kickboxing etc. ... show more

I always loved wearing "water sneakers" or whatever as they are flat soled and now called "zero drop soles". So, I got several pairs of these water shoes/sneakers and sizing is "as expected" and really comfortable to wear for all-day wear. Not sure how durable they are or will be over the long run, but if they last more than a year, that's good enough for me considering they don't really cost a lot.....yet. Elastic uppers with Velcro strap to keep them on your feet and looks pretty good. I wear mine just for walking, light mild hikes....as long as it's not too dirty or muddy outside...shopping or just around the house. Outer soles okay for wet surfaces, but not quite as good as my Merrell flat sneakers tho. Great cheap flat shoes that are comfy for my feet for many hours.....equals a 5 star rating for me. ... show more

I wanted to be able to feel my toes at work after reading a couple books on running saying that running shoes are not particularly good for your feet actually barefoot or close to barefoot is more beneficial to the well-being of your feet so I gave these a try after a couple other pairs found to betoo difficult to put on at least for my advanced age and arthritis ...so I give these a thumbs up or should I say five toes up ... show more

I know, well-intentioned orthopedic, podiatrist Doctors recommend we wear highly constructed shoes, but I'll I tell you what there's nothing like feeling the ground beneath your feet! I can't say I ever put a pair of water shoes, river shoes, comfort shoes like this pair. And what a great fit! I am so very impressed. I shoot for comfort now and these certainly are almost next to nothing outside of sandals. They're a great little shoe for all kinds of terrain, especially when it's wet outside and you just happen to have a water shoe on.
