I have always washed my machine and there has always been a smell that was there even after cleaning. However after using this product I can tell you that my machine smelled fresh, the smell was gone and after washing a load of clothes my clothes actually smelled better. If you are looking for a tub cleaner, look no further. My first front load washer and I didn’t read the owners manual (OM) … lessons are to be learned for that manual. If you are lucky to get one with your unit, read it! Mine didn’t come with one. It had a QR that will give you the digital OM. I started noticing some flakes residue on my clothes from my front load washer and a weird smell on my clothes. Started researching and learning! Everything was pointing to, I need to run a tub clean. So I jump on Amazon and started searching. This one had pretty good reviews, along with a few bad one… to be expected. I take everything like a grain of salt. After consideration, I decided to buy this one. Read the how to use, placed my washer into tub cleaner, tossed one tablet in and off to clean-ville. After the clean cycle, I looked inside and the tub appeared to shine like new. I drain the water and cleaned the filter housing. Tub smelled better and shined. I did two loads of laundry, and no more flakes on my clothes. Clearly, it cleaned the “gunk” in the washer. The smell it was developing was gone as well too. Again the size of this tablet, I was apprehensive. Is it going to clean my large tub? As inexpensive this is and they provided you two year supply or one year if you feel the need to clean your tub twice a month. Got for it! Can’t go wrong! ... show more

The drum ended up very nice and shiny. It is a stainless drum that was in good shape before I started so I expected nothing less. The rubber seal around the door did not appear to get any better. There was a dark stain around the bottom edge of the seal that was still there after running a cleaning cycle.
