This storage rack is a great solution for my skiing family. It's incredibly solid and well made and holds four pairs of skis up and out of the way off the floor. No more skis falling over and crashing down on top of other things in my basement storage area. I've had other wooden racks before that were nowhere near as well made as this. The hooks all have nice thick black rubber on them so the skis and boards are protected for many kinds of scratching. I also like how for skis they hold them two deep.     • Great Product But Could Be Better
Very good quality and easy to install. Each storage slot can hold 2 pairs of kids skis or narrow skis but the slots can only hold 1 pair of newer skis since most are wider at the tips now. I think I would rather have it set for just a single pair of skis and not stick out so far from the wall. Skis can be a little hard to pull out as they settle into place over a few days. ... show more

UPDATE: So I've uploaded some pics of the modified wardrobe rack I made with the ski racks, as you can see I've used them for snowboards and they are full and no issues with weight pull down on racks at all! The metal is heavy gauge and I believe it will holdup for quite a while! I haven't gotten the time to setup the rack yet but intend to use it in a custom wardrobe rack for all my snowboard gear and clothes, once i get that setup i will update this review with pictures of the snowboard rack. ... show more

This is our second set of ski racks - and i gather that for holding your skis and gear these are going to be AWESOME - for us we are using them to hold garden equipment and tools. PERFECT for that - they hold rakes, hoes, pitch forks and so much more! LOVE THEM for that - they are solidly anchored into the walls and heavy duty construction, too. While the stand is great, the bolts included are cheap and will break off when installed. This damaged my wall and I couldn’t remove them due to the head breaking off. I would suggest buying quality bolts instead of using the ones provided. Update: Customer service followed up and offered a full refund. Great service and responsive to inquiries. The comments regarding the quality of the bolts remain unchanged. ... show more

    • Very versatile. Maybe not the best for skis but excels another areas
We installed this in the "mud room" of an Air B&B we have near the Mt. Hood Ski Resort in Oregon. It's sturdy and comes with hardware to make installation easy. Its purpose as ski storage wasn't the best... we found the gravity gripper style worked much better for skis, but this organizer works great for hanging ski suits, jackets, backpacks, etc. Pictures uploaded by guests let us see what how they were using it. Nobody tried putting skis in it... but everyone used it for hanging wet ski outfits... so it will stay in the mud room for that purpose. It's well made and sturdy enough to handle the weight of wet jackets and backpacks. This would be great in your garage... One person thought it was for storing wet ski boots... they slid their boots over the end of the arms... and I guess it worked great for that too. Very versatile. ... show more

    • Sturdy, Rugged - Holds Snowboards Well

I needed a new rack to keep our current boards stored away nicely and off the ground. We lost the edges on some vintage boards this past year due to being stored on concrete which was a bummer. I'm NOT going to let that happen to our new boards! These racks are rugged, mount very sturdy and hold the boards securely. It's footprint is about as small as you can get it to hold two boards at once. Space is it a premium on our basement walls and these do a great job of maximizing our snowboard storage.
