Nice dual band router, it is mesh technology and is designed to work with other similar routers in parallel. It's fast and inexpensive. It's mounts lets reduce cable clatter and mount it on the wall. It is very easy to setup . However it is far from professional router, one will not be able to update the ROM or program advanced features in it. I purchased three, two for horizontal mounting and one for vertical mounted on a wall. They certainly do the job and are easy to install. I particularly liked the fact that there are multiple mounting tabs permiting you to mount vertically with the access hole (where the power cable and ethernet cables enter/exit the mount) pointing down, up or to either side. I found that by rotating the Google Wifi carefully before securing it to the case, I was able to wind the cable around the circumference of the mount, thus hiding hte cable. ... show more

I have Google WiFi all over the house and yard. We don't have dead areas. But, this I don't use in the house, I use in the RV. I have a lot of IoT devices, so they require internet connection. We had a Sprint Hotspot that only allowed 10 devices to connect. Between our phones and tablets, we had a couple of connections left, so that wasn't working. So I bought another Google WiFi device and this holder. Hook the Google WiFi to the hotspot and all the devices to it. Worked great, except where do we put it? This product is well designed to hold the puck in place securely and looks nice. It's a little challenging to get the excess cord to stay inside while mounting on the ceiling and having to twist it onto the base, but you'll get it with a couple of tries. I would recommend!
