Did not expect the conspicuous sloppy work on this basket. There was no color consistency or subtle gradations of brown wicker. Sections of the basket were almost black in color. Also trim work was a disaster. There was no effort to the conceal the ends of wicker strands. Rather, there were unattractive knots here and there which drew the eye and interrupted the design flow. I spray painted the basket which made a positive difference but that took two cans of spray paint and extra time. Overall the basket was too expensive to require the additional cost and effort. The basket looks beautiful. I was concerned about how sturdy it was because it was so lightweight, but it is really well made. Great quality. The large basket is big enough to fit a baby in (we are using it for baby pictures).
