SPECIFICATIONS: 17-inch waving tube man with fan in base to make him dance, wiggle, and shake just like the real thing (batteries not included) PERFECT GIFT: A hilarious gift for every birthday, white elephant party, or holiday! INCLUDES MINI BOOK: Includes 32-page mini book exploring the larger than life (and utterly surprising!) origins of everyone's favorite flailing arm man MANY USES: Bring a little bit of joy to your desk, dorm room, or bedside table PLEASE NOTE: This product can be powered by a 9-volt battery or by a specific AC adapter. (Battery nor AC adapter included with purchase.) Please read and follow the instructions included in the box to ensure optimal performance. If using a battery: A rechargable Ni-MH battery is recommended for best performance and is a more cost-effective alternative to a common Alkaline (single-use) battery. If using an Alkaline battery, it must be NEW. Refer to product information sheet included in box for recommended brands. DO NOT use a Carbon-Zinc battery (often labeled "Heavy-Duty"). This type of battery cannot produce enough power to operate the motor. To get the most life out of the battery, use in intervals no greater than 5 to 10 minutes. Operating in this manner will yield approximately 45 minutes of use. If your tube guy begins to get stuck in a downward position, it is time to replace the battery or recharge if using a rechargeable battery. If using an AC adapter, it must follow the below specifications: Input: AC 100-240V (50-60 Hz) Output: DC 9V (1A or 2A) Read more

  • Pocket-Sized Cheer: Wacky Waving Fun
Lately, I've been on a bit of an Amazon kick, discovering all sorts of adorable and fun mini items. This miniature Wacky Waving Inflatable Tube Guy was a must-have! I couldn't resist his cheerful waving motion. This miniature version of the iconic Wacky Waving Inflatable Tube Guy is a delightful and nostalgic desk toy. Standing at just a few inches tall, this little guy brings the same cheerful, waving energy as his larger counterpart, but in a compact and adorable form. The miniature Tube Guy is surprisingly well-made, with a sturdy base and vibrant colors. He's a guaranteed conversation starter and a fun way to add a touch of whimsy to any desk or workspace. My nephews absolutely loved their Tube Guys! They were thrilled with the gift and couldn't stop giggling and showing them off to everyone who visited. Whether you're a fan of the original or simply looking for a quirky and entertaining desk toy, the miniature Wacky Waving Inflatable Tube Guy is sure to bring a smile to your face. And at around $9, it's a fantastic value! ... show more

  • Best office decoration!
The product is so cute and perfect for a desk size. The only downside is you have to get a 9 volt battery and the longest life is 45 minutes of course it's not going to be running all day so it's totally worth the buy! My coworker and I love turning it on and making ourselves laugh throughout the day ... show more

  • Fun but loud, be careful handling
Got a couple of these as gifts for xmas and all were loved and worked well. Only issue is they are a bit loud so for someone using at their work desk might be an issue in some circumstances. Also the one my kids share they put their hands on the fan on the back that spins and it stopped working as well / the fab probably doesn't spin as well so the amount of air or movement of air no longer produces fluid movements. This fan part is easily touched when handling and picking up so my guess is that this could be the issues with inflation and movement that many note in their reviews. The only reason we know what happened is because i saw it happen in real time / it worked fine then my inquisitive kids wanted to check out the fan part and it instantly stopped working as well once they touched it. You easily touch that part on the back when handling (picking up or moving) so it is easily damaged in my opinion, should be held on the sides. ... show more

  • I would pay twice the price to have NOT had this User Experience
I received this as a stocking stuffer from my wife... a small gag because of my love of a family guy gag. I open it - it needs a battery - common enough. But can I open the battery compartment with my hands? No! It is sealed with a tiny phillips head screw - too small to get a regular screwdriver into, requiring me to go to my tools to fish out a sufficiently small headed screw driver. I get it opened and go to where I have batteries, careful to hang onto the tiny screwdriver to close it. But does it need a common battery? No - it needs a 9V - the kind that I used to keep around for smoke detectors but now not even smoke detectors use them. So I have to scour the house for a 9V battery, still looking for this to but a smile on my face. I find one and put it in only to discover that in my battery search, I've set down the tiny screw driver which I have to find. Now to close it up. Lo and behold the battery compartment is not the type that unlocks but holds the screw... the tiny screw is completely gone. Lastly - my item completely didn't work. It was getting power because the fan would turn for little bit but there was no waving. This actually wouldn't get a 1 star review from me though because I understand that sometimes items are just defective or break in transit. What makes me write this is the experience of using this. This is an item that needs to just work with limited user setup - it's a gag after all. You can't have users for this chasing down special tools and relatively rarely used batteries. You may say, aren't these your own problems - I'd argue that these are the results of unforgivable design negligence. There is no way the makers of this product actually walked through the total user experience of using this item (which I remind you is a novelty product with no practical application - not a life saving device) from unboxing to end and decided this was acceptable. Instead of getting a chuckle (the intent of the item), I was absolutely enraged by the time I was ready to flip the power switch - and on Christmas morning. ... show more

  • It’s ok but not great- doesnt flail well-expect extra cost
The media could not be loaded. This thing is funny but not well done. It sounds like a vacuum cleaner, which doesn’t bother me terribly but he doesn’t really flail about at all. I used the top of the line (according to chart on item) rayovac fusion batteries so altogether this thing cost me about $15 for the toy and 2 batteries. (It only takes one but 2 pk was better deal). If it was truly a $5 toy it would be worth it but once you add batteries and whatnot it’s a bit underwhelming for the cost. Looks cheap. That being said it’s still funny and my hubby thinks tube guys around town are hilarious so I’m hoping he will appreciate it. The instructions DO SAY that you can’t run it for more than 10 min at a time or the batteries will die super fast. Again that’s kind of ridiculous. If hubby likes it we may look into rechargeable or the dc adapter bc instructions state the adapter gives the absolute BEST results for the tube man. 🤷🏼♀️ Overall cool idea and cute as a gag gift I guess, but grossly underwhelming when it comes to the INSANE amount of “rules” and extra stuff you need to buy to make it operate properly. A friend of mine tried with cheap battery and it just flopped over to the side and didn’t work at all so it MUST be a high power expensive battery or an adapter. As a consumer I would prefer they just charge $15 and include the dang plug in but that may just be me. See video. ... show more
