I don’t drink coffee, I only drink tea and as much as I love my Yeti Tumbler for cold water, it was overkill for transporting my morning tea: I would burn my mouth when I got to the office, and would have to commute with the lid removed just for my tea to cool down. Morning tea had fallen by the wayside unless I was working from home. I’m ready to switch to water within an hour of arriving to work anyway! Needless to say, this is PERFECT! I wanted an easy to use ceramic cup for on the go, that would essentially replace a paper coffee cup. This is perfect for that! It is not meant to be a thermos style! I already have plenty of those. This isn't for keeping coffee hot for hours, any more than a coffee shop cup is. So, don't buy it, expecting that. The advantage is it's easier to clean and lighter, for immediate drinking. This is just what I was looking for. Cup fits perfectly in my side pocket of backpack. The coffee stays warmer than in a paper cup which is what I wanted. I also wanted a wide mouth regular size cup to hold; and one that could go into the microwave. There were no big leaks…I didn’t place the cup slanted or on the side to test it. But it didn’t leak in my backpack as I wore it all day while traveling with plenty of rough handling. No leaks. This cup also is dishwasher safe. I appreciate that it is a ceramic cup. Not exactly what I was looking for, but great for using at home while working. Keeps my tea/coffee hot longer than in a open mug, but NOT for hours like a double-wall vacuum insulation mug, which is what I usually use for to-go situations. The mug is very aesthetically pleasing, I absolutely love the look of it. It has a nice weight to it, easy to hold, and not easily tipped. I steep my tea in it with boiling water and the cup can be hot to touch even with the silicone sleeve. Can be a bit too hot to sip from since the ceramic lip holds heat of the liquid. The silicone slip has a cute design, but difficult to remove and I worry about moisture getting trapped under it, after I wash the mug. The lid seems a bit cheap compared to the mug. Simple design, fits decently, not spill or leak proof from my experience. The silicone vacuum seal, I guess you would call it, on the inside of the lid can give a weird taste or smell to the tea or coffee. My main complaint is that the lid is extremely awkward to drink from, it does not sip well. I actually prefer to drink out of the mug without the lid on and use it purely for trapping heat in when I’m not drinking from it. Overall, I think it’s a cute mug, great for light use, and will definitely use it at home while working. However if you are looking for something durable, for to-go use that won’t spill or leak easily, and that will hold heat over 1+ hours; Sorry to say, this is not the mug for you. ... show more

Pros: 1. fits in most single serve coffee makers 2. looks cool, sleek, and modern Cons: 1. it's just an expensive mug 2. Only stays warm for about 30mins, might be a pro if you plan to drink fresh coffee in one sitting 3. lid is splash resistant, will leak if carried carelessly 4. it is microwavable, but it is just a mug, it will be too hot to carry because it has no separate handle When I first got this mug I loved how it looked and felt. I've been on a mission to find the perfect cool looking travel mug for work. It looked great, it was my style, fit inside the smallest coffee maker at work, and it got plenty of compliments at work. I tested it out for a few days and noticed it would not retain warmth for longer than 30 minutes. It might be good if you wanted to quickly finish coffee, but if you forget about it it will be cold by the time you finish it. I wanted something that I could confidently throw in my bag. You cannot do this with this mug, the lid will leak if held upside down. It does work if you finished your drink and have a small amount of liquid sitting in it, then you'll be okay having it sit right side up in your bag. I did find a replacement lid "1 Wine Tumbler Silicon Lid 12 oz Spill Proof" it virtually makes the mug spill proof, but detracts from the its look. So the greatest draw back for me is that it doesn't stay warm. I will be looking for vacuum mugs instead. So far everything that checks my criteria looks boring. I just got a Fellow Carter Everywhere Mug, it seems promising. I also ordered a Fellow Carter move Mug that comes with a splash guard. The issue is both don't have a splash proof drinkable lid, hopefully one day I'll find the perfect mug for me. It's hard to do that all while being under 5inches in height! ... show more

I get that people are complaining about the mug being warm to the touch (it’s deff not burning hot) or it not holding heat long but come on people… it’s ceramic lol this isn’t stainless steel. I LOVE this little mug. I drink my first cup of coffee in the morning and then make a second in this mug to take on my commute to work. It’s the best. So comfy and doesn’t leak. I love the silicone. If you’re traveling 2 hours and don’t touch the coffee yes it’s going to be cold so don’t buy this. But if you’re a regular person who doesn’t wanna juggle an unbalanced mug in your cup holder in the car or someone who doesn’t like drinking out of stainless steel- this is for you! May buy the larger one too depending on how it holds up. I hand wash mine and it’s been over a month so far with daily use and loving it. ... show more
