The wall sticker makes it easy to install but then in order to get the shelf itself to connect with the wall adhesive you have to put in the screw on cap. Additionally the hole is nice for cords but it doesn’t look great and honestly the cord will just come out the bottoms and look strange anyway. Depending on your wall, we tried the stick tape that the seller provided. Those came off in a matter of days. So, we had to drill. However, they are nice and simple. They won't hold anything major but if you have an amazon alexa, it does the job

I really love these shelves. I'm using the adhesive method and they do not fail in the sticky department. They are unfortunately not damage free. Against my better judgement, I used my phone's picture hanger function to hang one of the shelves. It was crooked so I tried to remove the "sticker" and it unfortunately took a couple chunks out of the wall board I adhered it to. I quickly replaced it, covering up the damage. Needless to say, I will not be dismounting the shelves to take with me when I move. Aside from the little incident, I find these shelves to be awesome. They hold a decent amount of weight and have a bonus cord hole. They've been 'installed' for nearly a month now and are holding strong. They're aesthetically pleasing for acrylic material. They're a decent width. I've got another set in my cart waiting to be put to use. Definitely recommend getting these... ... show more

for $28 (at time of review) they are not bad. NOTE: these are NOT for holding up heavy things. These are cheap little plastic shelves for holding up maybe a baby monitor, some controllers for gaming, etc. They are held on by a sticky pad so anything that weighs a lot will likely rip them off the wall. They are very light weight but they are not super durable as stated above, they are just plastic shelves. If you just want to have a shelf for your drink, a controller, etc go for it, they work awesome. If you are looking for a place to put heavy objects you'll want something that screws into a stud in the wall. ... show more

These are decently made small plastic shelves. Never went for plastic glossy shelves before. They’re okay, not perfectly sold on the look. Too shiny, glossy. Unlike a wood shelf, this isn’t stiff and will subtlety bend under weight or handled. Much prefer wood. Intended to install two of them in the bathroom, but can’t get past the looks of them. These are great lightweight shelves! They come with all the accessories to hang them in different formats. Really wonderful price set. Using a few of these in the garage with good results. Also using in the play room as a baby cam shelf. Really easy solution. We would recommend!

These black acrylic shelves offer flexible, sturdy placement without needing screws unless you really need them for heavier items. My notes refer to the small 9 inch option, not the 12 inch option. In the box are 4 wall shelves, 9 screws with wall anchors, 4 adhesive strips to which the shelves can be attached, and 4 cable control guides that can adhere to the bottom of a shelf. The acrylic is very sturdy. Each shelf starts with as 6 inch x 9 inch x 1/8 inch rectangle which is bent to 90 degrees at the 2 inch mark. This results in a 4 inch x 9 inch surface for shelf and a 2 inch by 9 inch surface that faces a wall (or cabinet, etc.). I use these shelves to display small LEGO sets and action figures. As this light weight I don't need to use the screws at all so I’ll save those for mounting something else. I suppose there is really no right side up for these shelves though the manufacturer images do show the screw holes exposed above the shelf surface. I installed two shelves so far with one in the manner advertised and one the other way around. In one of my photos you can see that I attached one adhesive strip to the side of a bookcase and then attached a shelf to the two small bolts. These bolts are best tightened with a small socket wrench. I used my trusty stubby ratchet wrench with a 7mm socket to tighten them. A 9/32 inch socket can also be used but the 7mm is a better fit. For the other shelf, I skipped the included adhesive strip and tried some very strong double sided tape against the side of a cabinet. This shelf I installed with the holes below the shelf. After a week holding a LEGO set, my double sided tape has proven to work extremely well. So while this second shelf is not bolted to an adhesive strip, the double sided tape is also enough to hold the shelf in place. These are excellent shelves and I'm glad I ordered them. ... show more

If you’re buying this product, you’re not going into this with high expectations of decorative appeal. You’re looking to serve a purpose, and do it inexpensively. Remember, these are made of acrylic, basically a stable plastic that will hold lighter weight items. I was looking for a way to wall mount my wireless networks mesh system nodes and these fit the bill. I’ve The hole in the center of the plate was a nice touch, it allows me to route my wires up in through the shelf without having to run them over the edge. The adhesive strips are sturdy, the plate mounts very easily and overall if you’re looking for something simple to serve a useful purpose, this is probably a good buy for you. Don’t expect them to be artistic, wood grained, etc. They’re plastic and they work. ... show more
