Picked these up on a whim, because I don't have a decent looking pair of boots that I can get away with for slightly dressier occasions (all my boots quickly turn into "work on the car" or "work on the yard" boots). These look really nice and have a bit more of a dressy or premium appearance than others I own. The fit is good - feels pretty true to sizing. Regarding width, my feet don't require an EE shoe but in some brands I benefit from it. In these, the fit is pretty good for me without the wide rating. They are slightly more narrow in the toe box and I get a slight bit of rub on the outside of my big toe, but I believe this will go away once really broken in. I've been wearing them around the house for a couple hours now and it already feels like they are loosening up some in that one spot. The materials look great and the coloring is consistent and even. The zippers on the side feel pretty good and aren't hard or "catchy" - they zip smoothly, and zipper makes these really easy to get on and off. The open hooks for the top two lace crosses also helps with easy on-off boots. I'm used to seeing this on more "work boot" styles, but it is a nice to have here also. The heel is nice - it has a lift kinda like OSHA work boots which I find more comfortable. The soles feel pretty solid but not hard - they are easy to walk around in. All said, these are really nice. Ordered for my 17 year old son who needed a nicer pair of boots on occasion. The look of the boots is really good, the leather material is nice. My favorite part is that they have a zipper so he can slip on and not have to tie them. Sizing was tricky, he wears a 10.5 sneaker but we did size up to 11 because he might be wearing a thicker sock with this boot and he does not like shoes that feel tight. ... show more

As soon as I saw the side zipper I knew I had to try these. My daughter and my wife both have shoes or boots with a zipper on the side that make for an easy on and off, yet all of my boots take a couple minutes to lace up in. These look great, are quite comfortable, have a decent cushion, and they are Easy to put on and take off! I love how I can basically slip these on or off because the zipper makes it a 3 second affair to tighten or loosen. What a nice looking and comfortable boot and at a pretty decent price point. The boots are very nice. Well constructed, easy to put on and zip up which makes it much quicker. I needed a nicer pair of boots to go with nicer jeans, so I ordered black and these do the trick. Stitching is good all the way around..no pulled threads. Insoles could be a little thicker but they are still comfortable. They are true to size as I wear a 12, which is what I ordered and they fit great. ... show more
