    • Satin Sheets Are Slippery!

I got these satin sheets because my girlfriend wouldn't shut up about all the health benefits of satin sheets and pillow cases. Apparently, they are better for sleeping and satin pillow cases are better for your hair and skin, etc. I will admit, they look pretty cool on the bed. Maybe I didn't do enough research on satin sheets. I only have so much time during the day! Anyway, sleeping in them is an adventure. They start out hot. Then they get cold. Then, because they are so slick, you start sliding all over the place in the middle of the night. Sheets and bedspreads get all tangled. By 3am, it's hard to figure out which way the sheets are supposed to go. Don't get me started on making the bed. The sheets don't grip to anything. So, trying to tuck them in around the mattress takes a magic touch. The bedspread slides all over the place. Trying to get anything to sit straight is a challenge. I love the way they look and they are fun for y'know? Bedroom games. But outside of that, I might stick with my cotton sheets and just rely on the satin pillow cases to keep the hair in check. ... show more

I like the feel, color and weight of this set. What I am not a fan of is before even using them, I washed the set following the instructions using cold water, in a washing machine without an agitator. When I removed them, one of the pillow cases had the stitching separate near the border, about 4 inches worth. Not a huge deal to me as I can sew, but bummer to have that happen before even using the. Would still recommend them though as they're much better than the the microfiber bedding I usually prefer. They ARE slipper though as other have commented, but that's just the fabric and not due to anything negative of the fabric. I laugh to myself picturing the Duke boys having a car cover made of this and going to slide across the hood but crashing beyond the car due to how slipper they are. . Why would they have a car cover and then slide across it? Doesnt matter, it's still funny. . Don't judge me.. LOL ... show more

Love how smooth and sleek these feel. The top sheet will slip and slide everywhere if you use it, but I typically don’t so it’s not a problem for me. Pockets are not deep enough for a mattress with a foam topper. Color is fine and it is lightweight and smooth. The quality of the material could use some work. After a couple of cleanings the fabric became beaded and is no longer silky smooth.

    • It’s so comfortable! Best sleep I’ve gotten, almost didn’t want to get out of bed.

I really like the fabric and the feel of it, I’m in love with the colors and how smooth it feels this set also doesn’t get hot(I normally sweat to death in my sleep) My hair was so much better when sleeping with this than my normal cotton sheets.
