    LG remote was old and no longer working . Tried to find a universal remote and everyone had terrible reviews or used a usb dongle . The replacement remote from lg were over 80 dollars . This remote works amazing no issues would highly recommend . Works better than the original .

    Quality replacement. Feels a little cheap when first picking it up. Took me a minute to figure out how to open the back to put batteries in, but that was user error. Powered on and it work great with no set up.

    After our dog chewed up our first remote, this one was an easy replacement for our Samsung TV. It was easy to connect and seems to work exactly the same. It seems to be exactly compatible with our old Samsung remote.

Something we didn't think about vs the originals is that these (and probably all the other cheap replacements/add-ons) are kind of slick to hold since they are not "rubbery".       • Dog ate my remote

    Works awesome. Purchased my Samsung QN85 then they first came out. Very expensive and love it but through 2 dogs the remote got chewed too many times and stopped working. This new remote works like the original except the solar. Took 5 seconds to pair the remote to my TV. Glad we made the purchase

    I bought two as they came as a pair. Turns out it is better than the Samsung control it came with. The batteries are bigger so it last longer, so less changing the batter. That also gave controller a little weight as it had none and that made it feel cheap. Also in clicking through using iy you can feel the click and it responds faster. Just plain a better controller and the price was almost giving them away. I think it was 14 dollars for two. The two rechargeable batteries costed more. ... show more

    We bought the 2-pack so we could have a remote on each end table. Here we are about 9 months in and we have to use one remote to change the channel and toggle through apps, the other remote we use for power and volume. Both remotes have buttons that just stopped working. We don’t have children in our home, we watch TV about 2-3 hours per day, and we are your average middle age couple - so these remotes have had a fairly gentle life. We were disappointed with the loss of functionality and are frustrated that we have to have two remotes in-hand in order to watch television. We plan to order a new remote control, but will be trying a different brand and company this time, just to see if we have better luck with the lifespan of the remote. Overall I can’t complain about the price. We did get about 6 months of good use before they each began to lose functionality. Just disappointing because they are nice remotes when they work correctly. ... show more
