  • Good goggles, GREAT VALUE
Some background: I ski 30-40 days per season and usually wear all Smith products for helmets (either Level, Quantum) and goggles (4D Mag). Smith goggles are very nice but very expensive… usually around $300 at full price and sometimes down to $200 on sale at the season end. While I really do like Smith products, that price point is just not reasonable for many people who want to get into skiing, which is already a very expensive sport. I purchased “VIYAQIBEI Ski Goggles” as a backup pair of goggles for myself or friends to use as they were listed at $23.99 on Amazon. Now are they as nice as my $300 Smith 4D Mag goggles? No… they do not have interchangeable lenses and the field of view is smaller. But are they a great value at $24? Absolutely. One of the benefits of getting matching helmets and goggles from the same company is elimination of the gap in the forehead area. So yes, I have a bit of forehead gap when using these goggles with my Smith helmet (see photo). But is this really a problem? Not at all. Seeing how happy I am with these goggles really reminds me that I do not need to always have the most expensive gear to be happy. I am giving this product 5 stars not because it is the BEST goggle, but because it is a GREAT VALUE. For someone getting into winter sports, I definitely recommend starting with cheaper (but still good quality) gear like this. Then, if you decide to make the sport something you will continue with, by all means drop the money on the premium products. ... show more

  • Nice Goggles
These are nice goggle. They are easily expandable so you can put them over helmets. I have tried them over both kids helmets without issue. They are a light tint which I like. Enough to reduce glare without being to dark so you can wear them in evening. They are a bit thick, as in they stick off the face a lot. So if you do not wear them with a helmet they look huge on the face. They are fairly comfortable, little bit of pinching off on my nose due to needing them to pull down a bit. They have a nice look and feel. They work well for reducing glare, but they are not high tint so use on a bright sunny day is good for the snow, but not as good as a sunglass. But with as thick as they are you could easily throw them over a sunglasses. These are good, recommend. ... show more

  • Christmas gift for my daughter...she's been all smiles
I bought these goggles for one of my daughters since she loves playing outside where we live (somewhat rural). The cross-winds can kill her eyes and face, sometimes causing her to come in for an early break despite the rest of her skin being fully covered. With these goggles that offer a great field of view, she's fully covered and can play longer. She's thanked me multiple times for getting them for her. She's asked me to make sure I give 5 stars for them as she said that's what they deserve. From my perspective, they're a great bang for the buck. ... show more

  • Smaller and comfortable
There are so many different options available with ski goggles now that it was difficult to select one. I choose this version as it wasn't a humungous size and the filter was a better fit for skiing in normal daylight. When I first tried this one I though that the smaller height might be a problem but after spending more time in the goggles I think it works great for me. The head strap is a double buckle instead of a single, so you have more options to be able to get a comfortable fit for your head or around a ski helmet. The foam around the edges is comfortable and forms to my face contours nicely. There is a protection film on the inside of the lens that was a bit difficult to take out with large fingers, but I was able to finally get it off. The box says polarized sunglasses for some reason. The product description does not indicate that these are polarized and the lens is definitely not polarized from my testing, so this is a bit weird. ... show more

  • so far so good
# Item: VIYAQIBEI Ski Goggles OTG, Anti-Fog Snowboard Goggles 100% UV400 Protection Snow Sports for Men, Women & Youth =========== # Pros ------------------ * The size of the goggles is large enough to cover my 56x20 glasses. * Appropriately block the sun light. * The center of the strap located behind the head does not have a plastic joint, because the band is adjusted two ways. This is handy to attach the goggles on the helmet, because the clip to hold the strap of the goggles attached to the helmet is typically located at the center of the back of the head. So, if the plastic joint to adjust the goggles strap is located at the center, it will be difficult to hold the goggles strap on the helmet. =========== # Cons ------------------ * The strap adjustment is little bit difficult, because the adjustment should be done two sides. However, this can hold the strap in place stronger than one. =========== # Neutral ------------------ * The anti-fog effect has not been tested yet. I will update when done. ... show more
