This isn't the absolute brightest light you can get, but at this price you are not going to beat this. Plenty of light for all phases and the panel style has really good light uniformity across a 4x4 space. With that said, this is not going to replace a 1000 watt HPS. You are pulling 500 watts from the wall with this light, and you'll get around half the PAR that a good quality HPS can do; However, you will get the same PAR at the corners as an HPS due to the better uniformity of the panel design, which is becoming standard in LED lights. You also will not have the heat management you would with an HPS. I would call this a very solid starter or budget light. You will get very good results using it. If you're looking to get the same light output as an HPS, be prepared to spend around 3 - 5 times this much but make sure you are running everything that can take advantage of that kind of light (C02, etc...). For me, I have a larger tent with a couple higher end lights and I just didn't want to break the bank to fill out the space. I have good overlapping light from the space and this light does everything I need it to do. ... show more

In my 4 different 3x3's , you name it, I've had it in there light wise. The problem with all of them in a 3x3 was heat. Aci evo, and the marshydro evo's run so hot. This one with tent zipped up, on 100% during flower will only get my tent up to 76°ish. The coverage is the most even of all the lights for a 3x3. It does not have center hot spots, which is cool because unless you're only running one plant centered, that center area isn't as crucial as the overall coverage. No light burn either. No co2 needed at all. This is also the cheapest light I run. Running the new HLG Scorpion Diablo V2'2 in my 5x5s. So I didn't buy this because the lower price. Super output and spread/coverage, I'm convinced the bar-style lights are the best in terms of lighting uniformity. Even better with an AC Infinity controller & conversion cable. My Irish moss seed sprouted rapidly and grew quickly; no leggy plants here! Very good/functional/adjustable suspension paracord hangers are included. You don't need anything better or longer. 10 out of 10 in those categories. The only negative is that the lights (and especially the power supply) really heat up the room despite the lights being LEDs. They could certainly make the power supply more efficient & run cooler. Then these lights would be truly 5 stars overall; currently they are really 4 1/2 stars. But I would buy them again, they are really good! ... show more

I bought 2 of these lights they are great my plants love them. My only complaint is it isn't enough for a 5x5 which is the size of my flower room. I have 2 XS2000 that I put in my tent to make sure my PAR is high enough. But my veg room is 50x50 and the light works great in their. Its my veg room for photo period and got a few Auto going and they love it. Definitely bright in my 50x50 room growing nice frosty dense buds on my auto. With the XS2000 also going in my flower room my plants look amazing buds are also frost and dense. Definitely recommend this light for 4x4 or smaller room ... show more

the KS5000 is a dope light, Its built well, came perfect condition everything has been running smoothly right out the box. Out of all my lights this light stays the coolest, even compared to some 200 watt lights I have set up. It might not push the hardest compared to some higher priced lights, but it pushes hard enough unless you are supplementing with C02, that doesnt really matter. I will be buying another one. The only thing I cant speak on, is customer service. But hopefully if I ever need them, they will show up. This is a good purchase for your indoor garden. Will update a little further down the road with some more use. ... show more

Been wanting for over a yr bcuz of price and size for a 4x4 tent. It fills the tent better than others bcuz their smaller in blueprint of tent. The 301h and osram got me. I'm 301b n 301h. Lol. But really it's bright, light, cord is short to outlet but ok. It didn't turn on with my timer and that got me quick. But works fine plugged straight up. Maybe time need more ratings on voltage im figuring. Mines rates at 1250w. Looking for 2000w rating timer and no luck. Gotta wake up n turn n off manually. Sucks but love my light. ... show more
