  • THE DEAL OF THE CENTURY
Style: 32-Inch 1440p 75Hz
I wasn't expecting a rocket launch, but just an inexpensive larger, new monitor for newly senior eyes for my system. I built my system around 2015 with 2 Viewsonic VA2246 monitors, which were pretty OK for the times and simple NVIDA card. Later I purchased two AMD Radeon R7 series graphics cards, but never installed them. When this monitor arrived, I check those old AMD cards and saw they support 4K via HDMI @ 4096 x 2160, so I installed one for this monitor. W O W. It was blast off at Space X cool. This monitor came to life like the Frankenstein Monster, but much prettier. The monitor burst to life with color and precision graphics and text. Granted, not like much higher end monitors, but definitely NOT monitors priced like this one at the low end. Displaying pix from Hubble and JWST is just simply AWESOME on this monitor, which I have at Windows setting of 2560 X 1440 with HDMI. The thing is very light weight and easy to connect, feels very well build and is steady on it's stand. This is an OUTSTANDING value. It was $180 here on Amazon, but jumped to $199 after my order. When it comes back down, definitely buying another to replace the remaining Viewsonic. ... show more

  • You have to read the manual to turn on HDR.
Great monitor considering the price. It's not overly big like a 32 inch monitor. The ultrawide aspect is great for anything you could imagine. 75hz is good enough for gaming you can easily go 140hz without much screen tear. Picture quality is impressive. No dead pixels. When turning on HDR in-game or through windows or console settings. You also have to go into the monitors options to enable HDR otherwise you get really gray washed out colors. ... show more

  • Eminently Adequate
This is a decent display. You're probably not going to call all your family, friends, and neighbors to brag about it, and a bumper sticker is definitely overreach, but it's decent for the $200 range and a bargain at its current price. 2650x1440 gives nice content density at 24". Personally, I wouldn't want to go any smaller than 24" at this resolution. My eyes wouldn't be able to handle it. The Good: • Brightness, Contrast, and Black Level are adequate out of the box, and easily calibrated for individual preference. • Color quality is wonderfully neutral. I didn't have to calibrate the color at all. • Text is comfortably crisp & clear. • Zero dead pixels that I can find. • It's light, thin, and while not truly edgeless, it's close enough for my tastes. • The backlight appears even, with no edge bleed. The Meh: • Though advertised as 75Hz, it will apparently do this only via a DisplayPort connection... and it doesn't come with a DisplayPort cable, only HDMI. This is akin to a car manufacturer claiming their SUV is perfect in the snow, but you have to pay extra for all-wheel drive and the stock tires are entry-level general purpose ones. UPDATE: By a week later, I noticed that it wasn't just my eyes... the lower half of the display would black-out every few hours, for just an instant. This was only while connected via HDMI @ 60Hz. Since I wanted to be running it at 75Hz anyway, I replaced the HDMI cable with a DisplayPort cable... and haven't seen the black-outs since. And it looks even better at 75Hz. ... show more

  • Good picture, but senile.
Likes: 12V DC power for anti-interference, very bright, and VESA mounts. Woes: 10+ second turn on time, midling response time, and greyed out settings. Saving grace: price. I run this monitor from an isolated DC supply, so the 6 foot cord from a bulky wall-wart transformer is a plus. I'm impressed and annoyed with the brightness of this monitor, particularly because the brightness and contrast settings are greyed out on my OSD. I resorted to trimming all the colors down, but have not figured out what else to change. Regardless, my main point of contention is the 10+ seconds it takes for the monitor to come out of sleep. I've taken to noticing if the power LED turns solid, just so I don't mistake the delay for a loose cable. I bought this monitor for productivity and colors are produced with good contrast, especially for the price, though I'd buy a different monitor for gaming and consider one of these only for a budget build. ... show more

  • Solid Value
At this price ($150 when I bought), was able to buy 3 of them for use during at-home schooling and WFH for the price of one QHD monitor from other manufacturers. Like most kids nowadays, mine thought they could get by on their laptop screens for remote learning but quickly appreciated the benefit of having a separate screen for zoom and one for doing actual school work. Two are on the included stand, one is mounted on an arm (made easier by the adapter screws that were provided to account for the curve at the back of the monitor that would make attaching a VESA plate difficult). Screen resolution is good, colors won't win awards but sufficient for school work and light gaming. ... show more

  • Great pixels for good price
Style: 32-Inch 1440p 75Hz
Ordered 3 all came with zero dead pixels. A few annoyances keep it from 5 star though. Vesa mount area is not centered and has a little edge that interferes with mount but doesn't require anything to extra to achieve mounting. One monitor came with no base mount. Plastic Shell is wavy and cheap and thin but doing the job so far. No daisy chain DP. Pros...Refresh rate is great, they're nice and bright had to turn down to 25% in fact, gtx1050ti low profile pushes all 3 at max res and hertz no problem though I only game on one at a time, They're light enough that a cheap 3 Vesa mount has no problem keeping them in place, they shipped on time. They have a 3 year pixel warranty hopefully won't need to put to test. --Update one week after arrival-- One monitor now has many dead pixels many more dying. ... show more

  • For under $200, you cant really complain
The difference between 1080p and 1440p is like night and day. Browsing the web is pleasant due to how sharp the text is, and watching streams / movies are lovely as well. I'm a casual gamer who doesn't really care for FPS so my gaming experience has been amazing. This monitor brings a new experience to games I once played at 1080p. If you're on a tight budget and only seeking a higher resolution for your monitor, this is the one for you. ... show more
