  • Very good monitor with decent price
Been using this monitor paired with an RTX 3080 as a main one for a few months and it works very well. Played games and did work on it and the colors are pretty nice, better than the 1080P monitor I bought 8 years ago. This is also my first monitor with refresh rate above 60HZ and let me tell you everything was smoother. The price is very good for what you get. ... show more

  • Great material and picture quality
I highly recommend this monitor to anybody who needs a new gaming monitor and is willing to sacrifice 240 Hz for a curved monitor. The curve is not that curved, so it was easy for me to get adjusted to. It displays 144 Hz (144 frames) which is good enough compared to 240 frames as the human eye can barely notice a difference. The colors on the monitor were spectacular out of the box for me, however, I am sure that with some custom tuning of the monitor, the color quality would increase a ton. The sound quality is okay, if you don't want to spend more on speakers, these internal speakers will do okay, but not great. The fact that the monitor has them is the best part about them. For $200, this is probably the best monitor you can buy for the price. ... show more

  • Love this monitor
Love this monitor, amazing piece of tech for a very reasonable price. I never had any problems with dead pixels or lag. The only problem I encountered was hardware, the mount that holds the feet in place is very fragile and the screw broke within the first week of purchase, we ended up using some zipties to hold it all together. (the zipties worked wonders though!) Definitely want to invest in some sort of stand or mount instead of relying on the feet it comes with, but the monitor itself is great! ... show more

  • Good budget gaming monitor with some drawbacks
I was in the market for a budget gaming monitor that met certain criteria. 1. 1080p because my graphics card can't hit 1440p over 60fps 2. Freesync 3. More than 85 hz 4. Curved (more of a want than a need) This monitor meets those requirements. I can tell I prefer VA over TN more because the colors are richer and fuller than a TN panel. I like the dynamic contrast feature. I think it looks really stunning when I'm gaming. I think the 24 inches is the perfect size for a 1080p monitor. The curve really doesn't help much in this case. More of a novelty. Larger monitors it is much more helpful. In regard to drawbacks, I had a few. First, I had difficulty installing the monitor stand that it comes with. The bottom portion would not screw in properly for the life of me. It was so difficult to get it stable. It got to the point where I considered looking for extra screws from other things to see if they worked. After retrying, I was able to get the screw it came with to properly sit in the stand. Not sure if others had the same issue. I noticed on the screw that it looked a little off from the picture. Almost like part of the washer attached was broken or something. That aside, it is stable and sits well on my desk with my giant mouse pad. The second issue I had was getting it to 144hz. I had to go into the settings on Windows and set it to the 144hz. It defaults to 60 for me. Third issue is the color calibration. The monitors are not calibrated by the factory. They come as is. So you could get a great panel that looks perfect. You could also get something wildly uncalibrated. For me, mine fell in the middle. I had to do some tweaking with the Windows color calibration tool in order to get the colors to what I thought looked best. The OSD for adjusting the colors doesn't really help, mostly makes things worse. The calibration process would work a lot better if there were any public, free profiles up for download. I could only find one behind a Patreon pay wall. Lastly, the OSD could use improvement. The controls could be a toggle rather than buttons. The manual could explain the different things within the menu. I don't use the onboard speakers; I cannot speak to the quality of the sound. Honestly, just invest money into PC speakers. No monitor will have high quality sound built in if that's what you're looking for. If you're looking for a budget gaming monitor with some nice features, this is a great choice for $200 (at the time of this review). I think Viotek offers a competitive price for this market and I see them gaining market share if they continue to be competitive with pricing. They could certainly up the factory quality control and put more user-friendly improvements in their products. ... show more

  • Works as hoped. :)
Okay so i was have one dead pixel. I got the GN24c 24 inch 144 hz curved monitor. In the pictures i saw that it says it had vesa mounting but didn't see any holes in the back of the monitor that would indicate it was.. What i did not realize was on the back of the monitor the regular monitor stand slides into a bracket before you screw it together. And that to mount it on a wall/desk mount it comes with an attachment as you can see in the pictures. It does tilt, but not by a lot. the stand feels very sturdy. It has little bezel although there's like a bezel designed into the screen as you'll be able to see also in the pictures.otherwise awesome monitor all around. I'd likely buy this brand again but maybe a 2k monitor and something a little bigger as well for my own personal reasons. ... show more

  • These monitors are the best!
Amazing Monitor(s)! It was an absolute steal so I bought two to have a dual monitor set up. The 144hz and free sync really improve the whole gaming experience and 1080P is still the sweet spot for my type of games. Since moving from a 60hz monitor to these 144hz monitors I have absolutely fallen in love with the higher refresh rates and the AMD enabled free sync. Let's be honest, G-Sync monitors are very overpriced. Knowing that I chose to get these monitors and I used them with my GTX 1080 which was still able to use all the monitor(s) had to offer without having the free sync activated in the monitor's settings. Since then I have switched to Crossfire RX 580 to make use of the free sync and I do notice it takes away the slight tearing at higher refresh rates without adversely affecting the input lag. Note: While I was thinking of buying these monitors I noticed no one could give me a straight answer in regards to its compatibility with Nvidia GPU. Just to clear things out to save you some research these monitors will definitely work as regular 144hz monitors with your Nvidia GPU. Keep in mind it will not be able to make use of the free sync and at higher fps tearing might occur, however, since you will be at such high fps it will almost be unnoticeable unless you look extremely close. ... show more
