THE SHOES WERE RECOMMENDED TO ME BY MY FOOT SURGEON WHEN I WENT TO HIM WITH EXCRUCIATING PAIN IN MY FEET AND ANKLES. HE SAID I NEEDED ARCH SUPPORT EVERY TIME I GOT OUT OF BED AND IF I DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO PUT ON SHOES, THESE WOULD BE A GREAT OPTION AS A SLIP-ON FOR THAT SUPPORT. I LOVE HOW THEY LOOK AND THE FIT THAT THEY HAVE. THE VELCRO ON THE TOP IS ADJUSTABLE FOR COMFORT. THE COLOR I PICKED IS AS GOOD IN PERSON AS ADVERTISED. I HAVE CHOSEN NOT TO TAKE A PICTURE OF ME WEARING THEM SINCE MY TOES ARE SO WONKY (TRUST ME, IT WOULD BE A NEGATIVE VISUAL THAT ONE WOULD NOT GET OUT OF THEIR HEAD AFTER SEEING THEM!) THEY ARE EASY TO CLEAN IF WORN OUTSIDE OR IF THEY SIMPLY GET DIRTY FROM BEING WORN AROUND THE HOUSE. ALL THAT BEING SAID, I WANT TO MAKE PROSPECTIVE BUYERS AWARE OF SOMETHING THAT I LEARNED. WHEN I HAD A FOLLOW-UP VISIT WITH MY DOCTOR, HE STATED THAT SOMETIMES THE SUPPORTIVE ARCH IS A BIT TOO HIGH FOR PEOPLE WITH MY PROBLEMS. HE SUGGESTED THAT I WEAR THEM ONLY FOR BRIEF TIMES (LIKE MIDDLE-OF-THE NIGHT BATHROOM VISITS) AND USE MY OWN DISCRESSION FOR HOW LONG TO WEAR THEM IF I CHOOSE TO USE THEM FOR OTHER OCCASIONS.     • Super supportive and lightweight!
These slides are super supportive and made my foot pain go away after wearing them on day 2! I am on my feet all day long (cement floors) and when I get home, I need support and comfort. These shoes are amazing! Worth every penny!

    • Inflexible in every way
I bought these sandals noting that the upper closes around the foot with velcro. I thought I would be able to adjust the upper strap that goes over the foot to be tight enough to fit my narrow (AA) feet. No luck! The degree of adjustment available is very limited. The stiff upper band rubbed against the top of my foot uncomfortably and my foot slid around inside the sandal. The soles are as hard as wooden clogs -- not springy or softly supportive like running shoes. I was very disappointed. I had surgery on the bottom of my right foot and I need to be careful about choosing shoes that support my foot and keep me walking properly, so I had high hopes for these. But they didn't work out well for me. ... show more

    • The Orthotic Shop and Vionics come through again!
I always wear Vionics. So when I need a new pair of slides, I went on Amazon to look. I found these and loved the look and know the product will be fantastic. What I just found out, after receiving a lovely courtesy email asking if I got my delivery and if everything is okay, is that I ordered Vionics from The Orthotic Shop 2 years ago! I found out, because in my messages was a lovely follow up e-mail from 2 years ago! the wording changed a little, but the sentiment was the same-if you aren't satisfied and we can help, please reach out!     • The BEST & ONLY slipper for MY Plantar Fasciitis!!
I’m in love with Asha Keira because It’s the ONLY shoe/slipper that treats my plantar fasciitis. I’ve tried every shoe insert sold on Amazon and no other support seems to completely take away my pain so I had to wear the slipper everyday, everywhere regardless of my outfit. I’m 50 plus and still cute lol, so I’m not into caring so much about what’s on my feet at this point as long as I’m comfortable & not in pain. I will warn you that you might feel slight discomfort walking in these for the first time, as I did. The arches were too high and were a tad uncomfortable, but after wearing them for about a week, I noticed a huge difference in my heel comfort as well as found that it relieved the slight knee pain that I had. Now, I rarely wear anything else. During the fall/winter months I also wear a Vionic sneaker, which brings about 80-85% of comfort. Needless to say I have three pair in different colors and Although I recently received a Cortizone shot in my heel which has diminished the majority of my pain, I am about to purchase of fourth pair so that I can keep at work on the days that I want to wear regular shoes going into the office and also to have additional options with my outfits. I am a huge fan of the Vionic brand. However, in my experience, not all of their shoes with the “three zone orthopedic support” provide the exact same comfort, but I will wear on my size 10 wide width feet, nonetheless. ... show more
