As expected my husband snoring was too much and I ended up sleeping on the air mattress.I had the best night’s sleep. it did deflate a little bit for the first two nights then after that, it stayed inflated. I must not have shut the valve off all the way. I put a mattress padding on it and I did buy a throw a heating blanket because it is an air mattress and it does tend to get a little cold for me and my hips ache Needless to say my son went back and I’m still sleeping on the air mattress. Haven't used it for camping yet but we did test it out to see how it would work before we went camping and it seemed to work pretty good build up nice held it there all night didn't say in the morning. We did get a pillow topper for it, because it was a little firmer than we're used to.

The Mattress itself is great. It is very easy to manage. The mechanics for the built in pump are not. I left the little cord door open and broke it off while climbing off the mattress at the foot end. My leg broke it. The compartment is too small for quickly stuffing a cord back into it and I left the door open. I tried to find a spare part in the manual but no spare part is listed. As this probably applies to any manufacturer of mattresses with a built in air pump, I must wonder if this pump is replaceable. Possible pump failure is the main reason I chose this mattress as it gives me the ability to use an external air pump. If anybody or the manufacturer has additional input, I would appreciate it. ... show more
