I wish the lid wasn't so thick (pretty much just as thick as the bottom that holds the bits), causes the case to take up more space than it should.

Picture compares my slimmest 1/4 ratchet with stubby T30 to the bit set ratchet and stubby T30 bit. I work as a Porsche Tech and this bit set is a god send for tight areas. The stubby bits and the little ratchet have saved my butt multiple times when I have no space for a 1/4 ratchet. I’ve also put quite a bit of torque on the ratchet and it’s never once failed me. Literally half the cost as truck brands and twice the amount of bits. Can’t recommend this tool enough for anyone that works on German cars. ... show more

Set came missing the 3mm hex bit. It instead came with an extra 5mm in its place. I messaged the company with no response. Kit is great otherwise. Update, after my first negative 1 star review they contacted me. I received the correct missing bit today... They said it was a technical issue with their site..... This is a good deal the tool trucks sale these for $240 range, my only concern is the case is black not blue, i dont care about the color just hope its the same quality as the blue case ones the tool trucks sale. Basically im saying i know 3 people with this tool and all the cases are blue on the outside, mine from amazon came in black. Update...had this for awhile now. And no issues. Bits seem nice, bit holder was broken right out of the box. I never even used any of the bits or holders, just put one of the bits into the holder to see how they fit and when I pulled the bit out of the holder the magnet came out with the bit as shown in the photo. Now about 1/3 of the bit are useless because the nonstandard 5/16 bit holder broke. Called the phone number on the package and Shannon from VIM tools referred me to vimtools.com for a warranty request. Their form says I will have to pay $10 for them to fix their manufacturing defect. This is not what I would consider acceptable service when it was clearly a manufacturing defect. Amazon is out of stock so I can't get a replacement through them. This is poor quality and poor service for a nearly $100 bit set. This was my first VIM tools product and was excited to try it out, now I am just disappointed. Buyer beware I guess. ... show more
