  • Poor traction
Size: 10.5 Color: Nightfjall
For starters they look cool. They're alittle stiff, but that is to be expected with new boots. My major complaint about them is they have very poor traction. I'm easily sliding around on a little puddle on asphalt.

  • These are not vet approved
Size: 11 Color: Nightfjall
I served in the Marines. I purposely waited to give a review on these boots. I have worn countless boots. These boots are not worth the money. Even with the additional loops on the tongue of the boot they still managed to come loose during heavy use. I took a photo of the sole of the boot to show I did not wear them everyday and they have plenty of tread left but they still are coming apart. My first impression when I first put them on was they were sturdy and need to be broken in. After a year of wear they are still very uncomfortable and are falling apart before they feel broken in. I have $60 addidas sneakers that have taken more abuse and have outlasted these boots. If your a weekend warrior and like the "look" you will love these. If you need a reliable pair of duty boots these are not for you. ... show more

  • Great quality, reasonably comfortable, very tough yet mobile
Size: 8.5 Color: Nightfjall
I work in a very wet indoor environment, concrete floors, 40+ hours a week. I'm lucky to have a pair of boots survive 1 year before the soles seperate, or they just begin to tear. Now I'm just trying these out. So far they run a little big. I use a 8.5 in sneakers and any other soft toe boot. I ordered an 8.5 here and they feel a little more like a 9. Not a bad thing, I dont mind the breathing room. The ankle is a little stiff, which for some may be desirable, for me its so-so. Everything else about the boot is great. Nicely waterproof, breathes well, strong laces and tongue. Very comfortable to walk in. ... show more

  • NOT a half size bigger.
Size: 11 Color: Greyman
So many reviews say to order a size up. DO NOT. They are exact sizing. I usually wear a 10.5 and ordered an 11 but they were too big. Order your real size. Viktos footwear has a wide toe box so it makes their shoes/boots fit better. These boots are awesome looking and well made. The break in period is long though since the material is very hard due to it all being 100% synthetic. As far as traction goes it's not the best, the rubber becomes very hard when it's cold and becomes very slippery on ice or snow. Viktos makes decent stuff, not great stuff, lol. ... show more

  • Ankle stabbing, was hoping for more
Size: 10 Color: Nightfjall
I bought these for work since I'm in my feet all day in a wet environment and have been coming home with sore arches the last couple months. The size may have been off but where the tongue meets the rest of the shoe there is a sharp bump that was stabbing the insides of my ankles. This made the shoe unbearable for me and I tried adjusting the toung and laces but the bump remained there no matter what I did on both shoes. The insoles didn't seem like anything special and at the price if $140 I was expecting more. The shoes looked decent aesthetically but honestly looked bigger, bulkier and cheaper in person. I ended up returning them and went to a local boot store and got some wolverine water proof boots for $150 and boy can you tell the difference in quality. I hope someone likes these boots because they have potential but for me it was a big no. ... show more

  • If you have a high instep this will fit small
Size: 11 Color: Greyman
Plenty of room in the toes, wide and length, but if you have a high instep you will struggle to put thes boots on.

  • Best boots.
Size: 11 Color: Nightfjall
Excellent quality boots. Wide toe box makes a big difference in comfort from other boots I've tried. They look great too. Size runs slightly small it seems. I ordered a half size up. Sole grip on slippery surfaces 7/10. Build quality/durability 10/10. Only downside is the laces. They keep loosening, and are too short to double-knot. Get some new laces. Not really any padding on the upper (calf) area, but that was not a problem for me, but something to consider. ... show more

  • Very Comfortable/Grayman
Size: 11.5 Color: Greyman
Very comfortable boot. I ordered a half size bigger as a lot of people mentioned. Not 100% sure it was necessary, but it is not overly large for my foot either. I pretty much exclusively wear boots, so I may have just always ordered a half size big to begin with. I have walked through tall grass after a rainstorm and my feet were dry. I have run full sprint with my dog and they didn't cause any mobility issues. ... show more
