  • From 24” 240hz 1080p to this…
Style: 32-Inch 1440p
So I was a little worried when I bought this monitor because I’ve previously bought a big monitor like this and the colors were not good now let me tell you you do you have to make some adjustments in the settings but once you get those to your liking the colors and the brightness of this monitor even without the HDR on is insane it’s really good I haven’t used too many of the newer monitors this monitor is really good it’s really bright the difference between this and my 240 her monitor I really can’t tell that much of a different difference even in super competitive games I don’t see a difference really I know there is a difference there there’s a little bit of a there’s a little bit of a delay as compared to a 240 Hz panel but this is such a bigger panel and it’s a 165 Hz but the colors are so much better and the screen is so much brighter that even if there was more input lag which I don’t feel any input lag the only lag I feel is when I’m moving really fast I’m not getting the four smooth motion that I would get on a 240 Hz panel with a video card that can drive it with this I feel that is a limited just a little bit but I don’t care because I’m not super high competitive and I enjoy the brightness and the colors of this monitor versus the smaller screen in the washed out colors and a super Duper responsive time ... show more

  • Last IPS you'll ever need.
Style: 32-Inch 4K
Great monitor, and I have new respect for ViewSonic! Bought this used, much better value that way. Nice, fine resolution; refresh is great; colors are very good in gaming, browsing, and media consumption. It's IPS, so when sitting close (I sit about a meter away when actively using), large swaths of flat color still have that ghostly light-spill sheen (like when browsing, esp dark mode), but it becomes invisible the moment any more interesting content shows up. I've had to get used to the contrast and saturation as compared to my old monitor. Next time I drop cash on a monitor will be post 2030, and it'll be QDLED (which is what LED was always *supposed* to be), but I'll happily rock this beast for many, many years. Using DisplayPort on a GTX 1050Ti, so no HDMI 1.2 experience yet, may update review after the new compy. Caveat emptor, I didn't find the VESA mounting to be... complete. I may have been missing parts since it was used (?), but I bought a bog-standard mid-small TV kinda mount for my wall (2-rail, little tilt, etc), and had to rig up some DIY wood jank to get it mounted. I mean, I'm sure the base would have been fine, but for a 32" 4K, I wanted a wall mount option, so I had to kinda Jeremy Fielding my way to that. The mounting job is 6/10, mildly ugly, but it hasn't fallen off the wall yet, so we're good? Update Dec '22, now rocking a 6800XT on a 5800X3D, and I couldn't be happier even if I'd spent another $1,000 more. Very nice indeed, recommended! Windows color space handling and HDR are still... very Windows, but it's all good. ... show more

  • Best 32 inch IPS gaming display I have used so far
Style: 32-Inch 1440p
Upgraded from an acer xb323ugx which at the time was the only 32 inch IPS at 1440p and it's lower spec version. With a stuck pixel I replaced it with this monitor. It works well with gaming on my 3090 Ti. I use the native color profile and the icc profile that comes with the driver and set color saturation from 50% to 55%. The sharpness I lowered from 75% to 50%. The brightness I set to 45%. I did try the x-rite display pro plus but it just came out with a yellow tint. I would say if you want a pc/console gaming display that has a good color profile/settings out of the box this is the monitor to get. The only issue that I have is with the elite controller software will not load unless I set windows to use the monitor speakers. ... show more

  • Almost perfect
Style: 32-Inch 4K
Image quality is superb, nice features with the headset rest and cable holders. Only nitpicking thing would be to lose the RGB lights or speakers in favor of 2 HDMI 2.1 inputs instead 1 a d 1 2.0. Speakers are just not necessary and waste of resources on a monitor. Performance wise no complaints.

  • Fantastic monitor
Style: 32-Inch 4K
This monitor has exceeded my expectations. The longer I live with it, the better I like it. I use it mostly for CAD/CAM work but I do play games and it works great for both. It is super sharp and I was able to adjust it to my liking pretty easily (the colors were oversaturated at first). What really impressed me though was the quality of construction and the packaging. I had ordered several other monitors that were DOA right out of the box. When this one arrived I was surprised by how large the box was. It was easily 3x thicker than the competitors. Much better packaged! The way the unit fit together and the parts were much nicer as well. All the cords and cables were included. All said, a nice monitor and we'll worth the extra money it cost. ... show more
