EDIT: it's now been about four hours and the scent is still there, smells better as it mellows. I've started spraying it in my clothes closet. It retains a very light pleasant scent even after a week or so, so when I put on a clean shirt, it smells lovely. ____________________________________________________________________ I always read reviews and I just wanted a light, nice smelling body spray. When I first sprayed it on, too strong and smelled cheap probably because it was so strong. After about a half hour or so, it mellows. It then smells like a powdery vanilla once it dries down. It's not overwhelming after it dries down awhile unless you spray A LOT. It's pleasant if that's what you're looking for and remember everyone's body chemistry is different, so you see reviews saying it smells great or bad, but I think that is because of expectations, preferences and body chemistry. FOR ME, I like it about an hour after I spray it on, go LIGHTLY at first to see how it affects you. It does start to fade fairly quickly, but really I just look for something I can spray about an hour before I go somewhere and if it then last two or three hours (about as long as I'm gone), great. I LOVE the smell of rose, and I have been looking for a scent that smells actually rosy, unfortunately this one isn't it, but I still do really like the smell. It is still floral and sweet, but it doesn't smell like rose to me, i can get a "hint" of coconut, and a vanilla-ish smell, but other than that its mostly just a sweet floral scent.
