If you’re looking for a security camera that is quick and easy to install that anyone can do this product would be good for you. I just put mine in the driveway fixture. The Viaoty Security Camera is a “plug and play” device that simply screws into the E27 socket of a light fixture. After downloading the V380 Pro app, you are guided during the installation (either via the Video or written instructions) to properly connect to your 2.4GHz wifi. Key attributes include its panning range, full color night vision, motion detection, and motion tracker, among others. And I was very pleased with the image quality during daytime, and the ability to toggle between SD &HD. Notes: 1) read the instructions or page video carefully. I was not immediately clear on where the QR code was, but following the instructions led me directly to the QR. 2) listen for the beep prompts during setup- it will help you know that you’ve completed a step correctly. 3) use 2.4GHz WiFi, Viaoty not supports 5GHz now. 4) If the lighting fixture has a decorative covering, you may need to remove it as it extended/ covered the camera- it impeded the viewing area and image quality. 5) Not waterproof- Install it in a waterproof cover like I did and it's an easy fix!
