Absolutely no effort was given in the writing of the instructions, with that said, the table itself is decent for the convenience that it folds up for storage. The top and brackets are all heavy duty but the fold out legs are spindly compared to the rest of the table making for a wobbly work surface. Definitely cannot "lean into" your work. ... show more

I got a welder for Christmas last year (‘21) and have been needing a sturdy fireproof metal table to work from. This fits the bill perfectly. The assembly instructions were perfect and easy to understand and the table went together quickly and easily. The extendable legs work well for working from a sitting or standing position. The table is reasonably sturdy and stable for light loads when set up and folds up easily for storage. Two minor comments. 1) was that threaded nuts for locking the legs lengthwise were filled with paint that prevented the wing bolts from being able to go in; I simply ran a M8 tap through the holes to remove the paint and all was well. 2) the M10 wing nut / bolts that are used to secure the legs in the folded or opened positions are not able to be adequately tightened by finger to keep them locked in place, resulting in the legs drooping when folded or not wanting to stay opened if moving the table around. A bungee cord suffices to keep the legs in place when folded though. However, I also plan to tack weld the bolt heads to the corner pieces to prevent them from spinning when tightening the wing nuts. All in all I think the welding table is a good value and it will serve my needs well for years to come. ... show more

Even though this table is intended for welding it can be used as a general purpose portable bench. I fitted a medium size vice to mine using the holes punched in the steel. It is heavy and not easy to lift onto a pickup truck, but it easy enough to to fold flat and store upright in a garage. The overall build quality is very good much like the other products that Vevor sells. I have a few other pieces of equipment from Vevor and like their quality and price point. Strong heavy steel materials used and great coatings on everything, including threaded areas that shouldn't be. There's a few things I had to repair and a few things about the design that will always be aggravating. First thing I had to work on was the handle. It wasn't shaped correctly to fit, and I tried either side. Got it bent properly to bolt on. Second thing was cleaning out threaded holes on the legs for the wing nuts as they wouldn't go in without using vice grips. These are just to stabilize the legs that extend, their not for support. The adjustable height on the legs are sprung pins that will be holding all your weight which really makes me question the 1000lb rating as they do not seem near as strong as the wing nut that only applies side wall pressure to the leg that slides for less "wobble" it could have. Now to the design. The legs are all stamped the same, meaning since you will be facing them one way for bolting up you will have some wing nuts sticking outward and some not. Two corners will bolt up the same, two will bolt up in a different direction. That should've been taken into account. Then when you fold up the legs, The wing nuts will be hitting the legs knocking paint off. That's IF you can get them to even stay in their folded position. The bolts used for swinging them up and down should be carriage bolts allowing your wing nut operation on the back of them to function properly, as these do not. You will need a wrench on the bolt head to allow finger use with the wing nuts. Standing up when folded, unless you lay it long ways you can see that it is standing on the "tool tray" thus scraping all the paint off the end if you choose to store it that way. Which I would find the most convenient way. I will say that I was impressed by the angled rubber feet to compensate for the angle the legs would have and all in all it's a good buy. It wouldn't be hard to alter most of what I don't like, but it also wouldn't be hard for the manufacture to have altered such things either. I won't be trusting the sprung pins in the legs to hold a lot of weight unless I remove them and use solid pins, I can put a rubber edge on the tool tray, and I can simply remove the stabilizing wing nuts and swap carriage bolts into the slots for folding. But I also shouldn't have to change half of what this thing uses to be what it is. A folding welding table. ... show more

This works great as a workbench and its very productive knowing that you wont mess up the table. Table so far does hold a lot of weight but i dont know if it goes up to 1000lbs, seems likely though

I have used for a workbench more than a welding table and it has been nice to have some workspace. I dont leave it set up so more junk does not get piled on it this way I always have my work space.. Great table.
