Soend the extra money on a proper cutter. The software is painful and barely usuable with absolutely terrible "tutorials". This is such cheap junk and NOT user friendly. I am getting the same error as other reviewers, and the software refuses to recognize a design when I import it. I can cut the simple clip art designs that come with the software just fine but can't import anything. Also, my mat is bent and is making things much more frustrating. Spend the extra money on a better brand, I'm pissed I wasted my money on this useless thing. Will definitely be returning it. Edit: seller is refusing a refund. They know their product is trash and barely funtionable but don't give a F. DO NOT BUY!!! I bought a silhouette and the difference is night and day. Do NOT waste your money on this, you may as well be flushing it down the toilet. ... show more

    • I want to use more blades. Which ones are compatible? Are they standard?
I'm a total newbie, so I'm not the right person to judge this, but I think the machine is great. I've done some cuts and it was great and really easy. Only, there are many accesories for the likes of Cricut and Silhouette, and I wonder if I can adapt any of those to this machine. For instance, I need to cut 1mm rubber sheets. Anyone? ... show more

    • Machine quit working after maybe 5 uses
Don't recommend. This machine quit working after may 5 uses. I bought it in June and it's now December and it won't cut anything. It says the scanner can recognize the marks on the mat. I've bought new mats and it's still not working. I'm highly disappointed and I don't recommend this machine.

I have the silhouette Cameo 4 , but it is so noisy. So I decided to try this vevor. After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant, but I am so glad that I decided to go ahead and purchase this machine. Let me tell you, this thing is so quiet. Now I can cut in the mornings while everyone is sleeping ( that is when I like to do my projects) . The cuts, even the most intricate cut way better than my silhouette. Plus it is a fast cutter. It didn’t take anytime to set up. I did have to wait a few minutes for them to send a verification code via email, but once I got the code the rest was smooth sailing. User interface needs some serious updating, hinders functionality. There are no real tutorials to teach beginners. And the language barrier is counter productive to understanding. Speed of machine is good. Cut quality is good. Size is good and easy to store and move. Fix the horrible tutorial and instruction element and you got a winner. ... show more

I did get a couple test cuts of software exactcut included text, but anything not from exactcut library it wouldn't even contour for cutting. But before I could actually use for vinyl stencil cuts of simple text it stopped finding marks when scanning and started making bad noising when loading... Software is garbage, not sure why it can't find marks when scanning.. the customer and technical support is garbage and going to be done over email and no will talk to you.. Unbelievable disappointment, just wanted vinyl text stencil. Don't waste your money, get a real vinyl cutter or bow to the cricut, Fighting for redund ... show more
