Having quite a few other various products from this manufacturer, which have performed well, I wanted to try out something automotive. This floor jack feels very sturdy. I like the addition of the bumper foam on the handle as added protection against dings and scrapes to paint. The two piece handle is convenient for storage, though I will likely keep it assembled and ready for use in the shop. The low profile cutaway design does well for positioning under lower clearance vehicles, aiding in getting to tricky lift points. The double piston hydraulics work great, actually only taking 5 full strokes (under no load) to achieve maximum height. Once loaded, pumping is smooth and easy, and the release is also variable and smooth to prevent from drop shock. I would have liked a little bigger lift pad and it does squeak a bit during pumping operation, but still manages to perform admirably and is a welcome addition to the garage. ... show more

    • DO NOT BUY. Impossible to do routine maintenance!

I bought this and chose VEVOR because they had high reviews on other models and this one was lightweight and had a flat, rubber saddle which was ideal for my situation. The instructions leave quite a bit to be desired, not explaining how to access the Hydraulic system but INSISTING that you check the hydraulic system before use. After scouring the internet for answers, I figured out that the yellow plate on top was supposed to be removed. I successfully removed one bolt and then discovered that the other was warped and stuck. I reached out to VEVOR and they said they would respond within 24-72 hours. After 24 hours, I had no answer so I did continue to try it on my own. I was able to use my impact wrench to remove the stuck bolt (I was going to run to the hardware store to replace it) but then found the plate would not move at all. I was able to pry the plate up and out and finally was able to access the hydraulic system. After confirming the hydraulic fluid was at the correct level, I tried to reassemble the cover plate to much failure and frustration. This was not designed for the maintenance it demands. Depending on VEVOR's response, I may update this review but I am extremely dissatisfied with this product and I assume anyone who is not a strong man with a fully equipped shop will be as well. ... show more

    • Lifts very high very easily and quickly

This jack does exactly what you would expect it to do. I had no problem at all lifting a F-150 truck and a Range Rover with it. What I think I liked most is that it lifts really high, which can be a little unnerving when dealing with so much weight, but it handled it like a champ. I also like how much lift a single pump would give you. Less work and better results. The locking and handle twist release performed as expected too. One thing I can’t stress enough is please use a jack stand before performing work under something so heavy being suspended. An accidental twist of the lifting rod could send a great deal of weight on you very fast. This applies to any jack, an is not a flaw with this one. I’m just noting that because it lifts really high. ... show more
