So I've had this tool bag for over a year (purchased 10 June 2016) and so far I've been happy with it. The stitching has held up very well with only a few strings popping out here and there. All the seams are still tight and solid with no fraying what so ever. The zippers are not crossed or showing signs of wear and the close with no effort. The bottom of the bag is obviously worn but it's holding up like a champ; no holes or broken spots anywhere. the straps are still very solid as well as all the clasps and fasteners. Aside from minimal cosmetic wear this bag has far exceeded my expectations. The bag itself functions as it should with plenty of space for what I need. Please keep in mind that his is a TECH BAG, not a full blown tool bag for every single tool you own. With that said I'm able to carry everything I need to respond to a service call; multi-meter, multi bit screwdrivers, small 12 volt drill, flashlight, crimpers, cutters, needle nose, laptop, service ticket book, and other items to do my job. This thing can get very heavy very fast however, so pack accordingly. If you simply do not want to forget a single tool I would suggest carrying a supplemental rolling bag as well. Other than that I have only a few minor personal complaints with this bag but I would definitely recommend it. I feel it was worth every cent I paid for it and I doubt I will need to replace it anytime soon. After owning a Klein tech bag and it failing on me after a year I'm glad I made the switch. Pros: - Easily carry your tools with plenty of padding in the shoulders and back. - Lots of space for carrying the essentials. - Doesn't topple over when open. - Rugged design that has withstood the elements. - Re-enforced in all the right places. Cons: - Gets very heavy very fast. - Expensive, but you get what you paid for. - Placement of some of the pockets doesn't make sense. - No dedicated padded sleeve/pocket for tablets/laptops. Even after 5 years of everyday use this backpack still amazes me. With the exception of ONE single plastic broken on the left shoulder strap there are no issues outside of normal wear and tear. I recommend these backpacks 100% because it's stood the test of time and I've certainly gotten my money's worth. I just hope that they are still being made with the same attention to detail and quality that got me to buy this pack so many years ago... ... show more

Got this for the hubby and he says it fits everything he needs. He can fit his plumbing tools, electrical tools, odds and ends, and still hold his drills with it. And it is very durable. It gets beat up and thrown around and no zippers have broke, no seams have ripped, and the straps are still going strong considering how much weight it is holding. ... show more

Ok so ive had a few veto bags through my career and i already knew when it comes to quality Veto pro pac is the best on the market hands down. This bag is perfection to me when it comes to what it can hold and how much. But be warned it can get heavy but because its a backpack and well padded its pretty balanced even when stuffed. I am a traveling IT technician. I got tired of having all my tools spread out between pelican cases and pack out bags because I would end up walking back to my car 3 or 5 times every day at different sites. This one bag holds it all. It feels lighter than my other bags because its actually distributing the weight on your back properly. The kind of first order retrievability this provides is critical to my workflow. It's pricey sure, but to me and for what I do this is as essential as any other high dollar tool. I don't even have to think about if I packed something because it is all in one place. If you have invested in your tools as I have its worth it to invest in the bag you put them in. ... show more

I love this bag. I do apartment maintenance at a very large complex spread out over several blocks and find myself walking all over the property. This bag holds all the tools I need plus has room for a few extra I might need to take with me for a particular job. It’s comfortable, and super convenient as all my tools are right there next to me and the bag stays standing even with both sides open. Highly recommended to anybody that needs a tool backpack. I have used multiple tool bags since I started working offshore 3 years ago, and there is nothing comparable out there. I originally went with a CLC 4 compartment bag, which was okay, but it's 4 compartments with a lot of pockets, more suited for electrician or HVAC types. I carry up to 75 or 80lb of tools offshore with me depending on the job, and over time the zippers began to stress and eventually failed, leaving me wondering when I may watch all my tools go into the deep blue. I had never even heard of VETO until one of my co-workers showed up to a job with a tool bag. I asked him about it and he said it was hands down the best work bag out there. He's had his for over 10 years! So I began researching and that is when I ran across the TECH PAC! I was a little skeptical that only being a two compartment bag that it would have enough room for my tools. Not only does it have enough room, it is simple. I don't have to plunder through 4 compartments to find a tool. The ridged center and solid bottom make it very durable and you can set it in water without worrying about the bottom soaking up water and stretching the fabric. The utility hook is awesome as well. If I have somewhere to hang it, I just hang it and work out of the bag. No bending over all the time to get tools. I have had mine for almost a year Id say and I have had absolutely no issues with this bag. All of my co-workers are taking notice and considering dropping the extra money. Which any decent technician can tell you. Spend the money now and save yourself trouble later! Oh and the 5 year warranty should instill a little more confidence in the product your buying as well! ... show more
