Description

Item Package Quantity:4 Lift and transport loads from delivery trucks to docks, or use to inventory storage systems. Easy to operate with either a hand winch or foot pump. The platform lifts approximately 1" per winch rotation or foot pump stroke. Aluminum construction. Models with the suffix - FW roll smoothly on 6" diameter by 2" tread width poly-on-poly rear wheels with 2" semi-steel front wheels. Located on the handle are two rollers to ease loading into delivery trucks. Horizontal load center is 10". Low profile units have a deck height of 1/4" with 2" high side lips. Platform measures 20" length by 20" width. 3-1/4" to 58" service range.

I bought this for lifting wall mounted boilers in place. First of all it arrived wrapped in plastic with no real protection, resulting in a bent axle and upper casters from being dropped. Second the platform has a lot of play in it. We used it anyway on a job to lift a 150 pound boiler into place. It works great and i can see how this will make all future jobs much safer. I got back from the job and decided to fix its flaws. I removed the wheels and bent the aluminum axle straight. Then added heavy washers onto the axle to back up the wheel. I also removed the platform and added 1/2'' washers to take some of the play out of it. The lift itself is great but i have to knock off 2 stars for horrible packaging, sloppy design and high cost for what I received. ... show more

I'm retired finally - and plan on working a lot more in my shop - and invariably you will have something heavy to lift and move around - generator, 5 gallon fuel tank, etc. A career in IT does not exactly prepare your body for physical laboe. I'm trying to avoid injury to a aging back and this lift is a big help in that task. It easy to move around and the hand crank works well. As others have mentioned it comes already assembed and just wrapped in clear plastic. Mine was not damaged but it easy to see how that might occur. Also I did not see any poor contructions or welds that one purchaser had. A 2nd use for this is a work area for small equipment. I had a 70-80 lb 1500W generator I was doing some PM work on - and being able to elevate that gennie to around 45 inches off the floor allowed me to comfortably stand while working on it. When I finished that task it was easy to move the gennie and store it several feet off the floor on a shelf. I was inititally reluctance on this purchase - another "thing" to consume floor space when not in use. This is one item I'll be using a lot... EDIT - 11/15/2020. Just a followup for this lift. No problems with it - it probably a good compromised between ease of moving it around and how much it can lift. Something that can lift more than 200 lbls is going to be more difficult to move about. VERY happy with it . Not something I use everyday but every time I use it I am thankful that I pulled the trigger on this "investment"...just a very simple device. No battery - no motor - no hydraulics - just a simple hand crank. ... show more

Damaged during shipping. Aluminum is light but wheels bent during shipment. Amazon doesn’t allow refusal of shipment. Had to accept and return. Ended up keeping since the hassle of return is too much of a nuisance. The life works great.. just hate Amazon shipment.

After back surgery, I had to figure out another system to lift heavy items. This product is well worth the money and you can write it off as a business expense. The only thing you really have to do is oil the track from time to time. I had to do this three months after I was cranking and the platform would not down. I oiled the track and haven't had a problem almost 2 years. This product is well made and very durable, years later its still working like new. ... show more

Product looks like good quality. And would work well. I did not use it, however, because the guaranteed delivery date was not met. I needed this for an important move and had to scramble to get something else when notified of the shipping problems. Good product but shipping pretty lacking

Getting old. But still doing things. Lifting 50 lb bags of sand and cement out of my pickup is not for me anymore. This thing is the real deal. The winch is heavy duty and appears to be more than capable of the 400 lb spec. So glad I got this aluminum one.

Simple design. Light weight. Strong. Well made. Just spent the day moving a wood shop. Picked up heavy casy iron vintage machinery with ease. I dont know how i lived withouth this. Only complaint.. not even a complaint to me but aluminum scratches easily when cast iron is dragged across it. Yea that happens. Love this mschine! ... show more
