Very well made. I mean, the quality here is beyond compare. But, in this case, believe them when they say "XL." Even for me, a large bodybuilder with a chest 22" larger than my waist, this thing was darn near like I'd strapped a piece of luggage to my back. It's big. Great if you're looking to conceal carry an AR, or perhaps some gardening equipment, but if you just want a useful, practical, small(er) sling that you can access and maneuver far more easily and practically than this one, just get the standard size. Vertx makes the best gun bag for concealed carry and for trip to gun range. I love this Commuter XL 2.0. It can accommodate my MCX, my pistols, and all accessaries. The color is beautiful and it does not scream "tactical". Now, it will be nice if Vertx makes a bag with the height ini between the Commuter XL and the regular Commuter. This bag can easily fit anything you need for your day. It may be big for someone smaller than 5’8” but for myself (6’1”) it is the perfect size. I’d get one if you’re on the fence.

Fit larger people better, 6' 3" and a 51" chest and this fits nicely with plenty of padding, have troubles finding pack that the strap padding isn't just on top of my shoulders instead of in the front. Pictures of it next to a Camel back M.U.L.E Pro and a Vertex Gamut hope it helps for size Also just fits a 26 1/2" with 30rnd mag much bigger might be hard to fit, loved the bag but didn't have quite enough pockets/space for what I needed. ... show more

I was able to fit my favorite rifle I own which is my mcx virtus with a 16 inch barrel. Have light laser holographic with a magnifier and a vertical foregrip. It was snug but it fits without having to play with the zippers. Fits with the magazine loaded. Upgrading to a trijicon credo hx with a vortex mount not sure if a lpvo will fit with magazine in but none the less looks like a normal bag with a rifle in it. If you work in an industry where weapon concealment is important, this thing is solid. No one gives it a second look. However, as an EDC carry everything pack, it sits above the ALICE pack I was issued in the Army. With the ALICE having more compartments for organizing gear, clothes, and items that you might carry. I really wanted to like this pack, but after finding out I have to spend an extra 100+ dollars on storage accessories, I'm extremely disappointed. If I'd known this would turn into a 300 dollar pack, I would have bought an eberlestock. ... show more
