    • Good Looking and Useful Stand... If You Get Past The Volume
I love this stand, as not only does it conserve desk space, but it also looks very cool with the green light "bar" included. I also love the option of 3 USB ports on the front. I can plug my controller charger, or any other accessory into the stand itself. My only complaint, which isn't really a complaint, as I don't mind it, is the placement of the fan controller and the the loudness of the fans. Personally, I don't mind the fan volume, as I always have headphones on during my gaming, but on the higher of the 2 settings, the 3 fans do get quite loud. However, they do serve a purpose, as it does cool off the Xbox, but I don't imagine they make that much of a difference. The placement of the fan controller is on the back of the stand which makes sense, but isn't easy, as you have to reach behind the stand, which could be a problem in small desk spaces with monitors (my situation).     • TL;DR Fans not effective
I always address concerns first: Noisy and it takes some jostling to get it connected properly. Also two of the fans aren't even close to the heat sync. It isn't as effective to cooling your xbox one x as you may think. Non the less, it deserves two stars. It is a solid stand that I trust. It does cool it better than nothing. My xbox is a fair distance away so I don't even notice the noise when I am gaming. Three extra USB's on the front are nice for charging and extra controllers. The LED bar looks very nice (although I lost it now hehe, oops). I am buying another fan that fits along the back of it so I can get better cooling. But I don't regret this purchase at all. I’ll be honest the only thing I really needed was a vertical stand, and didn’t expect this to be much more than that. My Xbox one x has no issues with overheating but of course like any device when you put your hand on it, you’ll feel heat, which is completely normal. If you don’t understand tech, most if not all components generate heat, which is completely normal and harmless up to a certain amount, so don’t freak out if you put your hand on your console and it’s noticably warm. These consoles are designed to flow that air out as efficiently as possible and they do a good job at doing so, so the fans are not needed at all unless you have multiple consoles and perhaps a pc right next to each other and backed up to a wall, or obviously if you block the vents. Now I know I’m off track but I want to cover a lot so you know what’s going on before you spend your money. The fans are definitely nice, I personally don’t need them but I do like to use them since they’re there. I will however miss the silence of my one x, BUT the fans are not too loud, I keep my fans on slow speed and it’s fairly quiet but cools the console very well. I put my hand to it to see if a change was noticeable and the console was completely cooled, you only feel the heat from the vents, and the faster setting may be slightly louder but it cools fairly better, not too significant but again it really doesn’t matter. However if you use a headset then fans will appear silent even on the fast setting. I use my Razer nari ultimate headset for gaming and I use the tv speakers (yeah yeah no sound bar) when watching a movie or show and I’m not distracted by the fans, but that’s just me. If the fans do bother you, then you can turn them off and this stand is still very much worth getting, the unique green light strip is very aesthetically appealing especially knowing Microsoft likes to rock out the color green for Xbox, and the USB ports are a very nice bonus. With both my back ports being used by connecting the stand and giving my usb digital clock power, and my front port being used by my wireless headset adapter, it’s nice to have additional ports given, even if I have no need for them now they may be useful to you, for example if you want to connect a keyboard in mouse, even tho I have not tested this or researched if it works I’m assuming they will be just fine for that. Overall a great product and I’m very pleased with such a multifunctional and very compact stand, the size is only about one inch off from each side which helps it be more stable in the vertical positioning. Great job FastSnail! Ps I also have a stand for my ps4 pro from FastSnail that also has a charging dock for two DualShock controllers, also a great product, it has only one fan speed tho, both stands running you can very slightly hear through a headset but only during a silent moment such as a loading screen on games or scene transition in movies, but with no headset they are both quiet noisy together as expected even with the Xbox stand on slow, so buyers beware, still something I have no problem with and appreciate having. Looks and feels nice! Noise level is a pain. Sturdiness, well, it doesn’t wobble, so it’s steady. It is very light. Pros: Sturdy, Lightweight, light is a plus. Cons: Noisy, since it is connected to the console, the light is constantly stays on. No on and off switch for the light. The Fans has them, and they are located in the BACK of it. It is tedious to turn the fan on and off. There are 2 settings for the fan, slow and fast, middle is off. Please refer to the second photo to where the fan button is located. Setting it up was easy after I figured out which USB port to use (reach) A touch louder than I thought, but not too bad. It does not power on or off with the system, it stays on until unplugged. If your system is hard to reach the back of, it could be a problem.

The xbox fan does not clip to the xbox at all. The whole time the console is pretty much balancing on the prongs of the fan. It can rock about a half inch at least. Also the green led always stays on even when the xbox is off. The clear plastic to make it look like a light up bar does not even clip into the base, it just sits in the gap on the console. It seems like it would work to cool the console but not at all the quality I thought it would be. ... show more

This hold my xbox very well. I actually travel alot with my console nd have to constantly pack and unpack my xbox.. so I've put a fair share of use in the holding clips for months... not a single broken one. The clips hold well enough.. jus make sure xbox is flush after you hear the satisfying 'click'. Obviously is can still take a tumble if your not careful but it does its job. The fans are decent [2 speeds].. they definitely cool to a degree even on long hr gaming sessions. The light and plastic stick just sits in the slot and will actually stay tucked in the xbox upon removing the console.. so not that easy to lose,[sort of like set it and forget it] a nice touch imo. Has a short USB cable that can plug in the front but also adds a few sockets to give you more charging options. ... show more
