This thing is adorable and mighty! Made chocolate chip cookies to test it’s power. Mixed the entire cookie dough mixture from the bottom of the bowl. A little louder than Kitchenaide. Love the suction cups to provide stability on the counter while mixing. Love the tilt head and all the attachments you’d expect for a basic home stand mixer. I got this on Amazon Warehouse sale because “original box is damaged”, and boy that was hardly noticeable…Score! This is going to be perfect at our lakehouse! ... show more

I purchased this mixer for my occasional baking needs. I didn't need a high-end mixer. However, I was looking for an affordable mixer which would be powerful enough, have all basic functions and come with a decent size mixing bowl. Ventray Stand Mixer definitely met my expectations. It has a very powerful motor (500 Watts), 6 speed option, 4 basic attachments and a large 4,5 quart stainless steel bowl. I tried it on a few occasions and was pleased with the outcome. The attachments are not sitting too high in the bowl allowing the ingredients to mix properly. The dough was mixed perfectly. I was a little worried about the body of the mixer being made out of plastic, but it looks like the mixer was made very well. I like that the mixer sticks to the counter (it has six suction cups on the bottom), it makes it very sturdy. I can agree with other reviewers it is pretty loud. However, it is somewhat expected given the nature of the product and it isn't a deal breaker for me. I feel I got a great deal purchasing this mixer. ... show more

Buying this mixer was a very expensive mistake. I live on a small budget, so spending $129.00 on anything is a big investment. This mixer simply does not perform the way I hoped. None of the attachments reach the sides of the bowl, which means I spend more than half my time scraping the sides of the bowl trying to get the ingredients back into the mixing area. When I first got it last July 2020, I immediately prepped potatoes to make mashed potatoes. I was disappointed from the start. No matter how many times I scraped the side of the bowl, the mashed potatoes continued to be lumpy because the beater just pushed to chunks to the side again as soon as I turned it back on. I thought to return it at that time, but I thought I'd never used a stand mixer before, maybe there's a learning curve. Well, it's been two months now and the only thing it seems to be any good for is cookies. Unfortunately, I like cupcakes, and all the stopping, scraping, & restarting, makes the dough over mixed and it's still not combined well. I'm putting this mixer on a lower shelf where I can see it with a sign that says, "You screwed the pooch on this one." ... show more
