The description is that the cover is square, however it had curves on all 4 top sides to accommodate slightly higher chair backs. My chairs fit under the table completely so the cover was not suitable for me.

Warning, this is not waterproof. When I told the company they said to prop it up from underneath to prevent pooling as they were aware it is not waterproof as advertised. It does have clips on each end making it secure from blowing away and water resistant but NOT proof. My table ends up with puddles after each storm. ... show more
