I’ve tried nair’s wax strips amongst other nome name brands and this are absolutely the best! I don’t have to go over because they get everything on the first try. I only use them for my face and I don’t get any permanent scars or anything just slight redness but it goes away after a few minutes.     • Kids, Don't Try this At Home. Or Ever.
It started out promising. I peeled the little pieces apart and stuck them on very carefully in neat rows and let them sit for a while, so my legs were basically covered in what looked like huge pink pads. On the box it says “no longer needs to be rubbed to warm up the wax” so I figured hey, it might work better if I really rub it on there because obviously at one point in their product's lifespan, it needed heat. So I’m sitting on the bathroom floor rubbing my legs frantically to create friction because I can't find a hairdryer nearby. After about eight minutes, I try to peel one off. Not only is it incredibly painful, it leaves a huge square of sticky pink goo on my leg. However, I did get like five pieces of hair out so I was like YES. IT’S (sort of) WORKING. OKAY-ISH. So then I was like, I must not have held my skin down hard enough like they tell you to on the box. With one hand I’m pinching my leg like a crab while twisting to pull with the other hand and ripped as hard as I could. The strip of wax flew out of my hand right into my forehead. (Wrong hairs!!!) I got it off fast enough that it only took half my scalp with it and created a temporary set of (pink, gooey) bangs for me to enjoy. This time I took a very hard look at how much hair it was taking off because ouch. Unfortunately not much, maybe ten hairs, and I still had only gotten two tiny patches of leg finished, so I gave up and ripped away until I had gotten all the pieces off. By this time my legs looked like they had been attacked by thousands of bees - literally covered in leftover pink goo and bits of hair that hadn't been torn out, and wherever hair had been successfully removed, my skin was irritated, bumpy and splotchy. I hobbled into the shower to remove the pink goo and IT WOULD NOT REMOVE. I spent an hour and a half scrubbing wildly at my legs with a washcloth, scratching, soaping, razoring, soaking... that. stuff. is. intense. The ironic part is that the goo took bits of the washcloth with it, so the poor washcloth ended up denuded and my legs covered in blue cloth bits. In the end it was needless to use the wax strips to remove the hair because I’d practically removed my entire first layer of skin anyway in my attempt to remove the pink goo. I went to bed at 11 defeated and resigned, with pink blotches all over my legs like I was dying of some horrible disease. The upside was that my bedsheets were permanently glued to my legs all night so at least no one could steal the covers. This morning I tore the sheets off my legs and spent another hour and a half sitting on my bedroom floor scratching the goo off my legs before work. I'd prefer hairy legs to pink gooey legs any day. when you do wax, expect bruising. The wax did just stick to my leg but I find it to be helpful to keep applying the wax paper on the wax and continually ripping. The finish wipes work wonders but if you find that you dont have enough, use olive oil. (it hurts)

    • It’s alright
It definitely does the job of removing the hair and is convenient because you don’t have to heat up the wax for the product to work. The problem is the wax sticks to whatever part you are waxing and it is extremely hard to come off once it’s on your skin. I had to shower twice to completely remove all the wax that was stuck to my skin. In addition when you pull the wax strips apart, the wax will often times stick to one piece of wax strip so instead of getting two uses out of it, you only get one. ... show more

    • My go-to wax strips
These really work well, you just have to learn how to use them correctly. Always do one strip at a time & warm them up a little bit even if it says you don’t need to (I use a hairdryer on low for 5-10 seconds). Grab a strip, warm it up, peel it apart, stick to desired area, rub firmly downward/towards hair growth, peel upward quickly and firmly. Rub with soothing oil pad when finished.     • Effective product but tricky to handle
Let me start by saying my my shipment was ridiculous. The box was squished and some of the contents were out of the box and in the bag. It’s also August and the weather is hot and humid. Why that’s important to clear the air… the product itself worked great. But a couple of the strips were so stuck together that when I pulled them apart, all the wax got stuck to 1 strip vs. being equally distributed over both. This made both of those strips un-usable because one didn’t have any wax and the other had too much which was not picking up any hair. This could be a result of sitting on shelf too long, getting squished in transit and/or the humidity in the air. The product itself works great, if you can wrangle the strips apart. Once separated, the strips tend to roll, and with the wax being so sticky, if you’re not careful, it may stick to itself. I’ve typically used glee brand gel(?) wax strips and these are more effective. More challenging to handle (but again maybe due to aforementioned circumstances) but definitely work better and less irritating to my sensitive skin. Glee I think uses all these extra nonsense additives like fragrance or additives to make the wax… prettier? If you know what you’re doing, veet is the better option. 1-2 pulls per strip and move on to the next one. Done. I plan on re-ordering. ... show more

    • best ones i’ve ever used
i’ve used multiple wax strips before but these have got to be the best performing ones i’ve tried. i’ve been waxing my legs for the past 3 years and have gone through boxes and boxes of other wax strips but these ones were by far the most effective at getting all the hair off. i found that i could get more than a few uses out of one strip. i usually take 30 minutes to wax both of my legs but with these it only took me around 20. i will definitely be purchasing these again! ... show more
