I purchased this ribbon to make a sash for my wedding dress - I had every intention of finishing the ends, carefully measuring and then tacking it to my dress with matching thread to hopefully keep it from sliding and bunching and wrinkling, but between making my own cake and desserts and hors d’oeuvres for my (perfect!) DIY wedding, I found myself quickly unwinding a length of this beautiful double sided ribbon, tying it around my waist in a bow, trimming the ends to length, spinning the bow to the back and walking down the stairs to my ceremony! And it looked gorgeous! All day! I COULD just tie a bow - truly double sided and the ribbon is gorgeous - no trying to make show the good side showed. It was supple enough to tote a nice looking bow and the ends hung nicely,, but sturdy enough that just tied as it was, it didn’t wrinkle or bunch at all. Heavy enough the bow stayed in the back (and kept the sash exactly where I wanted it!) but light enough I only noticed it when I saw it (and loved it!) No transfer of color to my dress - just beautiful - exactly what I had in mind without any of the fuss I had intended to make! ... show more

Got this to wrap a ribbon around some invitations. Works great, has great quality, tho with every ribbon I’ve had it would always leave some lines at the end whenever I cut it but that was solved with some flame! Still overall definitely recommend

I purchased this in 1/4 in x 50 yard, in both ivory and gold. It is very nice double sided satin ribbon. The ivory has a slight peachy cast to it. I thought for a moment that I was sent the wrong color, but there is nothing on the packaging besides an internal product code to let you know what color it is. It should still work for what I’m using it for, but know that it’s not a true ivory. The gold looked like expected. There is also zero product info on the actual product besides the brand name, so I marked the length and color on the cardboard spool with a marker, in case I need to order more. My other concern, which I found was my fault but wanted to share so that others don’t make the same mistake - this is not 50 continuous yards. It is two spools of 25 yards each. They show two spools in one of the pictures and technically say so further down in the description, but it was a search to find it. So don’t buy this if you need 50 continuous yards. I did, as I’m stringing paper lanterns between some trees in my yard, but I’m okay with a little bow or something in the middle to combine the two lengths. But some people might not be, so be forewarned! Overall, this is a very nice ribbon and seems to be of high quality, so I’m not docking any stars for my mild concerns. Beats dealing with the crowds at the local craft store, so I’ll take that as a win. ... show more
