Tips before my review: Padded bras are made for those who have pronounced headlights that need that padding. Lucky for you if you don't need it, however, that very small amount of padding in this bra does not add to your bust size, but does give the girls added support to keep them lifted and in place. Also useful as a winter bra when the weather is colder. But it is definitely not overly padded. Keep in mind some reviews are from others who are wearing the wrong bra size to begin with when stating that it is "too big" or "too small". I am a 38C, 5'4" tall, and weigh 142 lbs. I give this bra a 5 star not because it is perfect, but because of all the bras out there, it really is one of the best and nearly is perfect it so many ways. Overall, I barely feel this bra which makes it great, no tugs or readjustments to the straps or the back banding, stays in place without any uncomfortable feel. The underwire is flat against my body and not round where it could roll up or down or dig in, and is slightly padded so that I can barely feel it. The straps are wide and very soft and do not fall off my shoulder. The back is very smooth and there is nothing digging into my shoulder blades or back fat. The size is spot on with the banding length and the cup volume being exactly what a 38C should be. The full coverage is great because it also helps in keeping the girls securely in place. It does not have side bones but the underwire works perfectly well at keeping my wide breasts front and center, oddly other underwire bras I've had have not done so. The cup molding is not too stiff and has some give to it since the entire bra (cups and banding) stretches in all directions, yet still feels nice and snug. The bra moves with me and I don't have to make adjustments by pulling and tugging at it all day long. Not a problem for me, but might be for someone with a long back; the straps adjustment length doesn't appear to be as long as some women might need, but for me it is fine, I have mine at about an inch and a half of extra strap left since I have a short torso. ... show more

This bra is awesome! Being a D cup, I don't need any padding! So when this lightly padded bra arrived I was nervous and ready to most likely send it back. To my surprise it fits like a dream! Feels great on. Lifts the girls up beautifully and supports them… looks fabulous! Its comfortable and does not feel or look padded. Its smooth under my clothes. I've had this bra on for two days straight 24/7 and I don't even know its there. I never once had to tug, pull, or adjust it. I purchased a few bras here on Amazon and this is by far my favorite! Uniquely Comfortable Shaping, Lift and Back Bulge Fighter. I think this bra is kind of revolutionary. It makes me look great under almost anything. 4.5 Stars, only for the extra line between the cup and satin trim that is slightly visible under a tee. When I put this bra on it was immediately my new favorite. The unique straps and back design are not only soft and comfortable, but have the most effective back bulge elimination I have ever seen. It keeps the whole bra in place and the straps don't dig in. It has great lift and support and I usually have to sacrifice a little comfort for support. But this feels as comfortable as a sports bra made out of soft fabric. This is a $60 bra for $25. The Illumination Full Figure Contour Bra has some padding, the cups are molded. The rest of the bra, the straps and all, are doubled soft stretch fabric which feels so much better than the usual hard, thin straps. As a D-DD, I don't mind the extra padding, which feels like it's there for support and comfort. The back has 4 hooks, as it should. Vanity Fair bras usually fit me well. As for me, I have always had a good size chest and needed a bra for all occasions, every day. I have broad, square shoulders and the girls are pretty round naturally. In my late 30s with extra weight this lift is welcome and the full coverage without creating extra bulges is ideal under every outfit. Hopefully that gives you an idea of the body type this bra works well on. It's true to size. It arrived quickly, but was packed in a smaller box and the cups were mushed up. After wearing it, it still has wrinkles in the cups (these usually even out over time). So, Amazon, please package molded bras more carefully. Think of them like hats. ... show more
