I got tired of the hassle of moving the table and chairs out in our lawn for trimming every time I cut the grass. A 3x3 grid of these tiles fit under the table perfectly and it gives me a good edge for mowing and trimming now. I didn’t even dig up the sod under the table, I just put this in place and the weight of the umbrella base and table’s feet will hold it down. From a distance you can’t tell that it’s fake grass. Time will tell if it holds up. Once connected, two sides of the square have exposed connectors which I may trim off or just ignore. It would be nice if the kit came with thin strips to finish off these exposed edges. 4/5 stars. ... show more

I have only had this product for a short while so I'm not real sure how durable it will be, time will tell. I have put this at the bottom of my deck stairs where there was grass. In the winter my dog only goes to the bottom of the stairs to relieve himself and therefore the grass has died. In the Spring I am left with dead grass and mud which comes into the house. I have tried to grow new grass and even sodded it last year, but again dead grass and mud. I had my son take the dead grass out and dig down about an inch or two. Put sand down and the squares of turf on top. So far they have stayed together and look better than the dead grass and mud. We'll see what happens as the months so on and how it will stand up to the snow and winter and my dog. ... show more

If you buy other tiling from Amazon and expect it to connect, don't. Flimsy cheap plastic in just the wrong places. Always pops up. Horrible. So dissappointed.

    • Efficient dust management, but not ideal for appearance since the seams don't blend together.
I recently acquired the Artificial Grass Turf Tiles Interlocking Set (9 Pieces) to alleviate the persistent dust problem produced by my high desert environment and three large dogs who have continuous outside access. Unfortunately, my order only contained 8 pieces instead of the specified 9, which was disappointing. Regardless of this problem, installing these tiles directly outside the doggy door has substantially reduced the volume of dust that enters my home, which is a huge help. They are simple to assemble; simply snap them together and they stay in place. However, the seams between the tiles are very visible and distract from the overall design. If you want a real grass effect, these tiles may not match what you are looking for, as merging the seams was difficult even after numerous efforts. Although these fake grass tiles are great in dust management, they fail in terms of appearance. If you value function over form, they are a decent alternative, but those wanting for a smooth, authentic grass appearance should look into other options. ... show more
