Eliminate the mess with your old RV plumbing valve. Instead of cutting the pipe and cementing a new valve on, remove the nuts, bolts, body, and seals out from between the fittings. Then, slide new seals and body in and rebolt. With a nut and bolt attachment system, you can be sure that the valve stays on tight. Good product but a little crazy to install, depending in your drain setup. I ended up cutting out a small section of pipe before the valve to give me room to slip it in, and then buying a 3" rubber coupling to put it back together. worked great. now both valves are accessible.
