  • Best $50 a Gearhead can spend.
I’ve got about $40k worth of gear, including $6-7k in boutique pedals, but I was just looking for something to put in the loop of my Trio+ for practice, so I did not have to rearrange a board every time. This thing is super sturdy, very low noise, and perfect to spice up that dry signal. The delay and chorus sound terrific. The overdrive circuit is grindy and spiky, but unlike similar products I’ve tried, I WAS able to dial the tone and gain back enough to get a decent crunch sound out of it. I can imagine using it as a quick grab and go and would see no reason to spend hundreds of dollars on any of the other all-in-one micro products like this. Easily the best $50 I’ve ever spent on gear. ... show more

  • Bang for your buck!
I read a few reviews and watched a couple of demos about the Valeton Dapper Mini and liked the sound of the effects offered by this pedal. The Valeton Dapper Mini is an awesome 4-in-1 guitar effects pedal featuring a tuner, distortion, chorus and delay options at a very affordable price. The tuner is accurate and easy to use. The distortion is solid but, not mind blowing (I use a separate overdrive pedal). The chorus and delay are great and offer a wide range of sonic textures. A power supply is included. A user guide is also included and the controls are easy to navigate. If you were to purchase 4 separate pedals for each of these effects, you might easily pay 4 times the cost of this single unit. The Valeton Dapper Mini offers quality sound and effects at an unbeatable price. I highly recommend. ... show more

  • Great for size and money
If you’re a player who likes multiple $250 pedals to chase the perfect delay, overdrive or chorus, this isn’t for you. For the rest of us who want something that does the job pretty well, fits in a gig bag, and costs about the same as a tank of gas, this is great. The delay is particularly good for rockabilly and the overdrive gives a nice crunch. The chorus is the weakest but still fine. It’s hard to see much of a downside. I can’t speak to long-term reliability, but it seems sturdy. ... show more

  • Small Package Big Punch
This unit really surprised me how well it sounds. For basic effects this is a great unit. Nice delay, Chorus and Distortions. I expected this to be a cheap sounding unit but was quite surprised how well it sounded. I love the overdrive sound. It has a good punch to it. Portability is awesome. Throw in your gig bag and off you go. I've used it in my studio and quite happy the way it sounds and operates I give it a 5 star rating. ... show more

  • Versatile!
Overall this multi effect pedal packs a lot of versatility! You can get anything from blues to some pretty gritty metal. It’s quite simple to use and the functions for the different EQ knobs are pretty easy to adjust. The sound quality isn’t as great as some individual pedals but don’t let that turn you away. It’s still a great sounding little pedal! ... show more
