So far I’ve worn this necklace to sleep in, exercised in and it’s not tarnished. I haven’t showered in it. Good quality for the price. I purchased this necklace in July. When I first opened it, I was so dissapointed w/ it because it initially looked & felt so cheap (and yes I realize it was a cheap price). It was so thin & lightweight plus it had an extender on the chain that imo, made it really look cheap the way the excess chain extender hung down. Also, the chain extender/clasp weighed more than the medallion so it wouldn't stay in the right position and I would have to constantly adjust the necklace so that the clasp stayed on the back of my neck. After a few hours I started a return but for the money, decided it wasn't worth my time & effort to drive to my nearest UPS drop-off location so I kept it. I ended up using some needle-nose pliers to clip off the necklace extender that I disliked so much which helped the appearance of it a lot and also balance out the weight. I've been wearing it 24/7 since July - showering with it, sleeping with it on & as I live in the South, sweating with it and, nearly 3 months later, it still looks like it did when I first received it. Neither the chain, clasp or the medallion has turned green and is still super shiny. People wouldn't really be able to tell its fake unless someone looked close or held it in their hand. ONE YEAR UPDATE: I have worn this necklace every day for 1 year and the chain is just now starting to turn (slept in it, showered in it etc) but the medallion still looks brand new. ... show more

This necklace is so pretty. I get compliments every time I wear it. My skin is sensitive but I've never had an issues. Easy to get on to get, can do it myself easily. Neck quality in size & weight. I would definitely buy again or recommend!

The pendant size isn't too large and the gold color isn't too fake looking. If you don't like rose gold & prefer yellow, this is perfect for you. For some reason I get compliments on this necklace literally every time I wear it - I'm not kidding. (Even if I'm wearing other real gold jewelry!) It's dainty and the length is perfect for someone who doesn't like the chain too short. I have purchased this exact necklace 3 times. Considering the price point, it does need to be replaced because it does turn after a while (although not as often as you may think!). I make sure to take it off before showering or swimming.
