  • Wonderfully fizzy and cleans well.
I had written a bad review for this product, and I just realized I had not sent it. I’m so glad I didn’t, because I thought the tablets did not work. It turns out they are very well wrapped in an outer plastic and there is also an inner plastic, and it is very tight and snug. I did not notice this inner plastic, so I was dropping the tablets in without fully unwrapping it. Of course, the product did not work and did not fizzle. Please make sure to remove both wrappings and you will be delighted by how fizzy and cool this is to use. Plus it does a great job!! ... show more

  • colorful tablets, do the job, pretty much.
I bought these 'quick dissolving' tablets instead of a more expensive and loudly advertised brand that was very poorly rated online. I liked the 'rainbow colors' and the idea of the scented tablets. The tablets colors are pretty. The tablets do have some scent, but not a lot, or it seemed to me, but my sense of smell is poor following two separate bouts of whatever resp. virus I picked up during the past two winters. The tablets take about twenty minutes to 'foam-up' completely. The foam will NOT fill your entire toilet bowl unless you have a very tiny toilet bowl. I did not have any rust stains or mineral deposits in my bowl, just a sort of an 'organic ring' around the water area, if you will. It eliminated that (no pun intended) with no problem and minimal scrubbing. But I have no clue what it would do with more difficult staining. The product left the bowl sparkling clean but there was no fragrant spring-like odor lingering behind once the product had completely been flushed away. (Please note: these tablets go in the bowl prior to cleaning, NOT into the toilet tank.) I still ended up using a liquid gel cleaner directly applied all the way around to the underside of the toilet bowl rim, as the foam from the tablets did not reach up to that area, (as already mentioned). I thought that both products worked well together at thoroughly cleaning the bowl. ... show more

  • Works!
Style: Cube Bomb
I’ve been using Clorox Toilet Wand for years. They changed the formula as it would never get the bowl clean or it would get dirty a couple of days later. These tablets worked first time out and keep the bowl clean for week. This is the second week and I noticed that it is powering away stains left by Colorox Toilet Wand. It is easy to drop a tablet in and walk away and then do a quick scrub later. So happy I found this product! I am even giving up those useless gel stamps, so saving a lot of money! ... show more

  • Guess it works but not strong scented
Not strongly scented and to be honest i have gotten better cleaning action from the squeeze gels. They do have some fizz but do not dissolve all the way. Scent is barely noticeable. They come well sealed. One plastic outer package and a shrink packed second packaging. This is good to know so you don't go retrieving it from the bowl. Maybe it's just me but the cleaning strength left a lot to be desired. I will be skipping this next time around. The colors are strong but they will not stain your bowl. ... show more

  • Effective commode cleaner.
The bombs dissolved immediately. I left the bomb in for almost half an hour. Then after brushing and flushing, I saw that my bowl was clean with no ring. Adds a nice scent to the bathroom.

  • Why?
I used it just as prescribed. One, two, three times. Every time, they had a problem with properly dissolving and dispersing evenly over a few weeks. The worst was that the thing wouldn't dissolve properly from inside the plastic membrane & just sat there about two weeks , till I poked it open to help it release. It sat there still longer, not dispersing. I finally had to tear the membrane apart much more, then finally all the way; but the result of that was, the membrane wouldn't dissolve, instead floating up to the top & accumulating like some kind of pond scum. I decided for the next one I should just tear the membrane completely away & drop the inner blue contents into the tank. This resulted in an opposite reaction where the blue ingredient dispersed heavily with each flush, exaggerating the effect but causing a much shorter life span for the tablet before it was gone - like about 2-3 days. So I've Had it! I'm done with trying to make this stuff work. I don't Know what else to try with it. I want to Send it back, and ask for my money back. In my opinion it is a badly designed dispersal system that needs further work in development. Its design is Not perfected. SO, Money Refund Please. ... show more

  • Fizzy toilet cleaners work, but don't expect more than a standard cleaner.
These are decent smelling and do clean the bowl, but don't expect there to be a bowl full of foam. Open the plastic bag and then remove the tight plastic wrap. Drop it in the bowl and walk away for about 15 to 20 minutes. When you get back, take your brush and agitate the water to get it to foam up. Walk away and return a few minutes later. Then scrub the bowl as you normally would for the best results. Personally, I find them to be the same cleaning capability or a little better than most cleaners. Just a bit of extra waste the keep the individual tablets sealed. ... show more
