Bought it as a part of a Halloween costume for my younger brother. It was part of his costume from Red Dead Redemption. I saw some reviews say that the brim got a bit messed up in shipping but the one we got was packaged well and had no issues on that front. The hat looks great and served its purpose. Cheaply made, off centered brim, crown twisted and front not aligned with rear, broken wire at rear of brim. Came tightly folded in a small plastic bad placed in a large box with plenty of air bubble wrap. Thought about returning the hat but then thought of the cost. Thought about just throwing it away. Right now I am waiting for the glue to dry that I had to use on the cord that was supposed to be wrapped at the base of the crown. Oh, and yes, it is way to large. I have a large head and after reading some of the reviews, I ordered it in medium. Medium is just too large and there is no inside flap to hold a sizing strip. So I cannot make it fit properly. I will continue to wear my other hats and not sure what I will do with this one. Hope you have better luck if you purchase this hat. ... show more

Low price, but not shaped as a true cowboy hat. The brim on the right and left side should be narrower and curved/curled up. Looks more like a crossover between a cowboy hat and a sombrero.
