Softness & Comfort Right out of the package, these sheets felt incredibly soft and smooth. They have a silky, almost hotel-like feel, making them super comfortable to sleep on. After a few washes, they’ve remained soft and cozy, which is a big plus. Color & Aesthetic The deep black color is absolutely gorgeous and gives my bed a sleek, elegant look. It hasn’t faded much after washing, but I do recommend washing in cold water and drying on low heat to maintain the rich color. Fit & Durability The fitted sheet stays in place well and fits my mattress snugly without slipping off. However, the material is on the thinner side, so if you prefer ultra-thick or heavy sheets, these might not be for you. That said, they’ve held up without pilling or tearing so far. I liked the sheets upon delivery yesterday. They were a "recommendation" on Yahoo shopping. Once washed, as I started to fold them, I noticed there was only a finished Hem for the pillowcases on one side. Even though the back side of the case was hemmed, it was not finished like the front is. This is VERY hard to understand, even to show in pics as I'd have to prob rip it to better illustrate. I am still debating whether to return these or not. IF I keep them, I suppose I could tuck the longer, back end in... UPDATE: I have decided to keep them. They stay cool throughout the night. The fitted sheets fits snug even though we have a thick mattress. There was a white substance when I first put the fitted sheet on the bed but I wiped it off and had no issues with it as we slept.
