I have this app on my iPad Air and a link to watch NEC College Football. My nephew plays in one of those teams. We have been able to watch the games via app on iPhone, iPad and Windows computer, but we want to watch it on the big screen TV. I could do that using a Roku stick, but I do not have one as I have all the channels I could get with Roku available through my cable plan. I got this cable. Well I can open the app and get the picture via iPad Air (brand-new), but no audio. I have a Bluetooth soundbar, but it will not connect my iPad as long it is connected via the HDMI cable, and although in discover mode for other Bluetooth devices, my soundbar never came up. So I thought of my laptop which has a USB-C port, Bluetooth, wi-fi and everything I thought I would need. And here we go, setting the soundbar to Bluetooth from the usual HDMI, plugging the cable in the USB-c port, other end in the last available HDMI port on my TV, and everything I see on my laptop becomes available on my TV. The product ceased to work after 6 months. I use this cable to connect my iMac to another monitor and that is all it is used for. One day I got a message on my monitor that the signal failed between my iMac and the external monitor. I probably won't get contacted by the seller, but let's see. By the way, I had to buy another cable and it's working fine. I want to give an update to the original review. There must have been a fluke in the cable. I did say that I might not get contacted by the seller, however the seller immediately contacted me and suggested a solution. The solution given to me was either replace or refund and I chose a refund because I had already purchased another one. As soon as I suggested a refund immediately the next day I received my refund. I would like to add that the product was defected but not customer service. Outstanding customer service and I would definitely do business with them in the future. Great job! I bought this for my ipad to connect to my projector, but I was disappointed that the ipad wasn't letting me access videos to project. it works and I can use my ipad and it projects but idk if its the ipad or the connection but doesn't allow me to stream.

When I bought this I wasn't sure this will work with my computer and monitor. My computer has a thunderbolt port but I still didn't think it would work and I was ready to return it, but it did work. The picture quality is no different than when I was using HDMI to hdmi but this usb-c/thunderbolt makes disconnecting and reconnecting much easier.
