It’s funny. I decided to try this cable based on everyone’s review and recommendation. I took a flyer on it; the first time I used it was in my storage unit. At first, it was a little weird and different. After playing around with the unique plug side, I tried it out in a couple of different things: my MacBook Pro and iPhone 15 Pro. I was shocked at how well it snapped in, and it felt like it was just a natural extension of my iPhone or MacBook Pro. Depending on the application, where you need a flathead, I can see this working out in the end, and I will probably pick up a few more. My lights are on 10f foot cables, if not longer when doing photo shoots for an event, a product shoot, or possibly a podcast, and these are long enough to where I can get external power to run different colors so I don’t get lost in the mix of cables. The one thing that anybody reading this should take away from this is just because the cable looks different, similar to silicone, doesn’t mean it’s going to be wrong. I’ll chalk this one up to one of my new favorite cables. I’ve also been introduced to silicon cables, and they are my new favorite cable for various reasons: they are rubberized, don’t tangle, and are just a bit bigger and easy to roll. This one is skinny.     • A great solution, but could be even better.

I, like too many of us, have been using my "phone" for more and more "non-telephone" purposes, and have experienced the anmotance of having to deal with a charging cable poking into my hand while holding the device horizontally. Enter this "ribbon cable" design. It allows the same functionality as a regular charging-and-data cable... including fast-charging tech... but allows the cable to wrap, in a form-fitting fashion, around the edge of the device. It's a great idea, but it could be even better. See, one of the advantages of "magnetic tip" type cables is the ability of the tip to swivel, avoiding twisting of a cable entirely. But this cable is extremely susceptible to twisting. And once twisted, the usefulness of the ribbon section to improve user comfort is reduced if not eliminated. So, an ideal solution, for ME, would be to have a "ribbon style" cable TIP for a magnetic cable system. Or even a mere "ribbon cable extension" (which could then plug into any existing cable, including but not limited to magnetic tip ones). This is great. But it demands careful untwisting of the cable prior to any use to avoid twisting if the ribbon section. ... show more

My wall charger was always coming unplugged and wouldn't last very long with constant pressure from hanging off the wall. This cable solved that problem since it lays flat against the charger and doesn't pull the charger down. Now I can put the charger behind my nightstand because it only hangs out the width of the charging block. Hasn't got pulled out once and charges my phone as fast as any. Would also work well on a PC connection as well. Type-c to Type-c so it's capable of reaching a 3a charge. 100w chargers are basically pointless since the technology doesn't even support it yet. I use a thunderbolt cable for data transfer so there's no need to spend the extra money on more expensive charging cables when you don't need it. Works great and highly recommend. This unique cable & connector allows me to plug my wireless phone charger into a cigarette lighter charging device in my vehicle without the cable getting in the way of a cup holder. Once installed I don’t need to unplug it, so the extremely low profile design is perfect for my application. I expected the flat ribbon section to be fragile, but it appears to be quite strong. The rest of the cable is braided, somewhat stiff, and more rugged than the other 30+ cables I own. It easily charges my iPad at 20 watts (see photo). ... show more

    • Doesn't work with a case on your phone

I saw this cord and thought it would be great so I could lay in bed and use my phone without getting that pain and mark you normally get when your charger pushes into your chest if it is sticking out the bottom. I ordered it and when it came, I saw the issue. If you have any sort of case on your phone, there is a 99% change that the short/90-degree-angle end will not be able to be used because the case will prevent the cord from being able to get in the port while also having the cable connected. That being said, you can use this cord to connect to a wall charger that is behind a couch or dresser and not have to worry about the cord getting broken or pushed out when the furniture pushes against it, which is the issue with normal cables that go straight out from the port. ... show more

Seems to work well, extremely low profile connector makes it better suited to purposes where it will be permanently connected to the device, There isn't much other than the cable to grab for repeated installation / removal. That said, it works very well and doesn't get in the way.

Thought I'd try this Type C 90° flexible charging cable for my 10" tablet. So far it dose what I invisioned. I found it a pain that I was not able to use my tablet in the up-right (portrait) mode while charging cause all my cords plug-in straight to the port and I would have to lay it sideways (landscape) mode or lay it down to use and change. With this particular cable, I'm able to have it plugged in to the tablet full time and set in the up-right position and use the tablet while charging. Yes I could just leave it charing all the time but to give the battery some cycles every now an then, I un-plug the cable at the power source side and not at the tablet. This cable seems to transfer the power no different than the cable that came with the tablet. If Im ever in need of another 90° Type C USB power cord I'll be sure to consider this one again! ... show more

I have the low profile usb c cable occupy and the edge of the car adaptor charger’s usb c port(picture attached) now the wire hangs down towards the bottom of the cubby hole so that I can make room put my other things on top of the usb c wires.
