I bought this tool to install hair extensions on myself. The tool itself works fabulously, however it does tend to get very hot. Using the keritan glue beads was somewhat difficult. The iron is pretty self explanatory. It’s mostly used for ktip extensions. So easy to use. No matter how high or low heat setting is, it melts the glue perfectly without burning skin.

Here is a before and after picture of my hair prior to using these glue beads. So I have been using u-tip and i-tip extensions for years. I am familiar with keratin beads and how to install and remove the extensions. I am not a licensed cosmetologist, so I did use these products at my own risk. The installation with this tool and the beads went well. The tool works just as well as any other tool, however, I rhink the beads are not keratin. I am almost positive they are glue that is used from a hot glue gun or poor quality glue. The glue would not come out of my hair, with keratin glue remover, acetone, oil or conditioner. I was left with no other option but to cut all of my hair off because I could not remove this glue from my hair. I would not recommend purchasing this product. ... show more

I was so excited about this thing . But I’m not a fan the wax either gets too hot and slides right off the tool or it’s not hot enough to melt . The idea of this was just messy , harder than the videos make it seem (promise ) not to mention…. In my hair…. Basically glue (healthy or not ) it’s a nightmare to do lol. I’ll stick to weft band and beads ... show more

Works just as it says it does some people say theirs didn’t work and that’s gonna happen with any electric type device at some point. some products will be faulty, but mine was not, and it worked perfectly and I’m very pleased with my purchase
