Exceeded my expectations. It’s a well made and beautifully carved wooden box. The engraved plaque makes it even more special and comes separate for you to affix yourself. Witch I appreciated a lot because I’m not ready to look at my sons name attached to the box yet, but when I am ready it will be even more beautiful. Also it arrived a day early I appreciated that as well. I’m very pleased. In such a sad, depressing and trying time like this anything that’s good and comforting is much appreciated. We needed a temporary urn and we didn't want to pay the 200.00 fee from the funeral home to rent theirs. We needed something quick and we found this. The picture doesn't do this justice. This is a beautiful well made hand crafted urn. Urns can be very expensive and look cheap or gaudy, so this way surpassed our expectations. The little personalized plaque that came with urn was done well, no mistakes. Considering this was purchase was because of a sad event, the box made us happy. ... show more

The engraving on the plaque was nicely done. I was surprised by the quality of the workmanship. The funeral home was going to charge me $395 for a cardboard box, but when I had a fit the price drop drastically.

So thankful for this purchase price. You get a great piece and craftmanship, not sure if mass produced but I love the detail and the benefit to have a customized plate. The bottom is a thinner than the other wood but durable and spacious in the box itself, we have the box as a 'memory box's of the ashes of our late relative but also special items to keep close and wont have to worry of being misplaced like other items from previous years.
