  • Works great, but no wiring diagram.
I finally got around to mounting this onto my 3D printer, and it works great so far. Luckily, I was able to find a wiring diagram somewhere else online, because the seller didn't provide one and it was surprisingly difficult to find. It's awesome to be able to just flip a switch to turn my printer on or off instead of having to unplug it each time. Some of the other reviews have been saying that the fuse inside blows easily, but I haven't experienced this yet. If it does, I'll update this review to say so, but so far, I'm super happy with this plug and I would totally recommend it if this is something you need for a project. ... show more

  • great item and this one had a fuse with it while others on Amazon were reportedly hit and miss.
This came with the fuse which was great. I ordered this same item from another seller 2 weeks prior but was waiting for the China Post ETA of June 6 - June 23rd and decided I didn't want to wait that long to finish my project. I ordered this one as it was a prime item, received it in 2 days and was happy to find it had the fuse, while the other one (arrived early) had no fuse. :) Photo is the switch/socket installed on my car audio Boombox I just finished lastnight. Thanks again for the great product, works perfectly. ... show more

  • Quality
This is a nice piece. Comes with a fuse and a switch, and the connections are all solid. Exactly what I needed.

  • Used in arcade, worked well.
Used this for power into an arcade machine. Worked well. A wiring diagram and cutout diagram would make this nicer. If you don't care about the switch light, you can run just hot to the switch terminals and neutral directly to power supply. But if you want the switch to light up when ON you will have to wire both hot and neutral to the switch. I crimped my wires, they went on easy ... but I did notice the ground fell off ... there isn't much room between all the spade connectors (it's tight!), so it can get tricky with all the wires in there. May be better to solder...but I like crimping. ... show more

  • Perfect for a hobby cabinet, and comes with fuse.
Cost is 2x the shipped-from-China ones that are identical, but this one came with a fuse and is Prime-eligible. Worth every extra penny. Perfect little switch. Bought some 4.8mm crimp-on terminals, soldered them onto some 16AWG wire, and used some dual-wall heat shrink to protect from possible shock. Used these to make two jumpers from the socket to the switch. Cut the end off my power strip / surge protector and soldered 4.8mm terminals with dual-wall heat shrink. Wired the green wire to the bottom pin of the socket and the black and white wires to the switch output. Now I have a quick external computer-cable hookup on my cabinet, and a surge protector inside the cabinet with an external switch. Makes for a very clean installation. FYI - this came with a fuse. ... show more

  • Good budget option switch
Value is solid but the light seems to be on no matter which way it is wired. I know these style switches are supposed to be lit on when on and lit off when off which this version can’t seem to manage. Other than that it is working very well and was easy to wire.

  • perfect professional looking finishing touch
if you're looking at this, I assume you know what you're going to use it for, so i didnt attach pics. same piece available under a dozen different names, some with wires and some without. i didnt trust people's wiring jobs from whatever factory this must come out of, so i did my own. worked out great. if you need to know the wiring on the back, because the built-in light pulls power from the power you plug into it, just look for the other dozen or so other exact-same products sold. some of them have pictures listed right there in their for-sale ad. if you're scared of some wiring, soldering, and shrinky tube, go buy a pre-wired one. ... show more

  • What you see is what you get....zero instructions for wiring/assembly and mounting
I use these on my arcade cabvinet builds and I love these types of finishings- they add a professional look to the overal build. Just a work of caution, mine came with in seveal pieces. THe fuse holder in the ceter was out and the actual fuse was just floating around in the plastivc bag. Also, ZERO instructions and no wiring diagram or hole cut out template or measurments are provided. So you must assemble, which is fairly straight forward and then you have to figure out the wiring on the back of the plug, again, if you have some electrical knowledge, and you use crimp on lugs, not too tough or difficult to get wired, but something to think about. Last, it wasn't clear to me that the switch does not have a pilot light. In other words, I thought when it was swirtched to the on position it would light up red, but sadly this is not the case. Not a huge deal I guess, but I though it would be a nice touch. ... show more
