The vetiver has a very nice and masculine scent to it. Not floral, but natural and pleasant. At first opening, this will be remarkably strong. For the first several days you will want to, in my opinion, only add a few sticks and bundle them together snugly to not diffuse too much scent at once. After 3 days or so it will take on a nice, understated scent to it and stay there for a very long time. If you want more scent, it's easy to sprea dout the reeds or flip them to get a burst of scent into the air, but I like to keep a subtle scent instead of soemthing that hits you in the face in a smaller room like an office. ... show more

I bought this for my son's bathroom over a year ago. The scent is still going strong! If I want to revitalize it I flip the sticks for an oomph. I came back to Amazon today to buy another. I don't know about the other scents, but this is a winner! Not over powering, but smells so good! I think this would be especially good for those looking for a more masculine scent.
